Default ideas for cards at Relay for Life event

Hello... I am volunteering at a Relay for Life fundraising event and wanted to donate something for their door prizes.

I was thinking of making a basket that would include a set of cards. Would you make them Thank-you's for a cancer patient to give to others or would you make them encouraging words that people could give to cancer patients? Any ideas?

I thought about the bra support card I saw once but didn't know if that would be too sensitive. Thoughts?

First of all, as a 15 year cancer surviver and an avid supporter of Relay for Life, I would just like to say a hearty "Thanks!" to you for doing this.

I think that anything you do would be good and appropriate. While I was going through treatments, I enjoyed both....the Thank You cards are great because I had soooo many people who were soooo good to me, and hand-crafted cards are such a beautiful way to express gratitude. And I realllllllly loved those cards that included an encouraging expression - I still love these! I like(d) to give them as well as receive them! I think that anyone - cancer patient, cancer survivor, cancer care-taker, would love anything that you are willing to donate.

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

What a beautiful and lovely thing to do!

Woo HOO! Congratulations for being a 15 year Survivor!!!! Thank you for your perspective.

This is the first time I have personally participated in RFL events but have given funds in the past. Our county is one of the top RFL fundraisers per capita in the US!! RFL events are well attended and supported here and everyone participates in some way, with giving, planning, attenting, etc.

My grandmother and great grandmother both had breast CA and my father had CA too and he is a survivor. It touches so many lives and I just want to do my little part.

I think I will have both thank you and inspirational cards. I have a ribbon stamp so I will search the gallery for ideas. I am also going to personalize one of my Thirty-one totes to donate with the word "Survivor". Mainly I hope their fundraiser is a success.

adding: Oh, and I will include a couple relevant Birthday cards too, since the theme last year was about Celebrating more birthdays.

Yay! Congratulations Laura! Such a good thing to hear.
I think some general uplifting sentiments which could be given to anyone would be useful. I'm glad you posted this becuase I think I will make some cards to sell for our Relay team as well. I'm thinking I could put a basket of them in our break room at work and hopefully people will pick some up!
