Congrats Barbara,
I am not a demo but my demo precuts all her stuff for her workshops to save on time and that way there leaves more time for questions on techniques and for people like me, more time to buy from the catalog...LOL.
Just a suggestion for your future workshops...and best of luck with your new endevour!

Congratulations! That is a good feeling! I know I love having workshops! I have one next week with 17 people!! Whoo-hoo!! I LOVE making money doing what I love!!
I'm so glad it went really well. I know it would though.
Sorry I couldn't stay and take part. It was lucky I didn't though, it took me all day to get the stuff for my son's party bags.
I will definitely try and come to the next one though.
It's Fi - Allys friend - we met today and this is my first day on the boards. Glad it went OK at the session - you looked really professional. Ally and I went for breakfast after we left you and then I got us lost - wasn't it nice of her not to tell everyone ;-) Hope to chat to you again. Are you on AIM?
Way to go Barbara! I think it just gets easier and with SCS to come to for idea you'll be great! Make sure you sign up for the Demo only section where you can get lots of tips on workshop preparation and ideas for your business. My favorite classes are with 6 or 7 people because they can me more hands on and when you put a stamp in someones hand and they actually make something they usually love it!
Congratulations!!! It sounds like you did very well!!! I signed up to be a demo this month and had my first SU workshop last week (4 days after receiving my starter kit, lol)... I did not sell a whole lot, but I did get 3 bookings, so I was pleased :o) Good luck with your upcoming stamping parties!!!

Congratulations, Barbara. Now that you've done your first class I'm sure that the next one will be easier. The joy you felt certainly comes thru in your e-mail!

Good JOB. That first one is always so hard. My advice: keep the make and take as SIMPLE as possible. Want some wow? Use a spectrum pad. It gives wow without extra trouble. And they are a good upsale item. It always takes longer to make the card than you think. Some people have never stamped in their lives. Anything you do will wow them.
Good luck on all your future workshops. Deep breaths. It will get easier.
