I saw a new set! (Do not click if you want 2B surprised)
Guess what?! There's a sneak peek at a 2004/5 stamp set in RubberStamper magazine. It arrived in my mailbox this afternoon and was visually devoured within the hour.
It's printed for the public to see, so I don't see any harm in telling you about it: The stamp set is a new fundraiser for Breast Cancer! It's a 4-stamp set with symbolic pink rubber, and $2.00 from each set goes to a breast cancer research center in Utah.
The photo and information is on page 96 in the July/Aug issue.
... the suspense is killing me on the rest of the catalog!!!!
It's so pretty. I got my Rubber Stamper yesterday and saw it too. Sorry that I forgot to mention it. But it's soooo mine. I love the sayings. Perfect for collages or accordian cards, star book....all of my favorite things.
You guys have to go to a craft store and check it out.
I too heard about this set from another group. What a wonderful thing. I have a high history of Breast cancer in my family and Uterine cancer as well. In fact I go in July to have some precancerous areas lasered off.
Just think of the possiblities of this stamp set. Yellow ribbon- wishing to have someone come home (mostly military), blue to support hte local law enforement. Red for heart disease. The list goes on and on. This will be the first stamp set I purchase that's for sure.
I wish I could get Rubberstamper here. I haven't seen a copy in forever it seems. Maybe I will break down and just subscribe.
