I really hate to turn anyone away. With that said...I'm going to introduce a new blog dedicated to forming SBS groups. I don't have all the badges posted yet. All you need to do is post a comment WITH your blog URL under the group you would like to join (30 people cap per group). The rest of the instructions will be with the badges. I am so thrilled to help bring more blogging stampers together and create a sisterhood of support.
Tracy and Catherine,
You will be the first two members of Group 2. I will create badges for the 2nd group and let Tracy manage the list. When the badges are done, I'll post again.
Yikes - I forgot to check back! I'm here (waves hand in air madly!). I've added the badge to my blog and I've added names to my blog roll. I'm off to go blog visiting and leave comments. Thanks for holding my spot!
Hi Everyone,
My name is Lori and I would love to join a group of fellow stamping and bloggers. I have made a couple of great stamping friends and would love to have more.
My blog can be found at: papercrafterlori.blogspot.com
All y'all who want to join a Sisterhood of BLogging Stampers, please visit the new blog. http://sisterhoodofthebloggingstampers.blogspot.com/
You can post here, too, to introduce yourself. We will keep the master list on the SBS blog. But we'll advertise here! We want everyone who wants to, to get hooked up with a sisterhood. I'll create as many groups and badges as necessary!
Okay, novice blogger at work - you've been warned. I promise I'm a quick study! I posted my blog in a comment on SBS2. This (SCS) won't accept a URL from me. (I know I'm being dumb, so feel free to instruct me!)

This sounds like fun. I have a blog: www.learntostampandscrap.com. I love blogging AND stamping. I have started a Card Sketch Challenge this month on my blog and I plan on doing tutorials in the upcoming weeks as well. I have a lot of samples of cards, scrapbook pages, gift items, etc. on my blog. I post a few times a week so you could check things out, ask questions and I could help you with stamping ideas and techniques. I would love to have some long-distance stamping friends. It sounds like fun!

Hiya Tracy and Alana (and all of you new sisters!)!! *Waving like mad!!*
I would LOVE to join the SBS2 group! I wasn't certain of the order procedure though so I thought I would introduce myself here as well as on the Sisterhood Master Blog!
I wasn't sure if I needed to wait on approval to add the badge to my blog , but due to my need for instant gratification am going to try that as soon as I am finished here! Big cheesy grin!
It is very nice to meet you all and I look forward to making a ton of new friends!
I don't know if anyone else wants to do this too, but I added a link in my member listing on my blog to the central listing blog for the members. That way if anyone wants to see more or all of the names for all of the groups, they can find it there.
I hope that made sense the way I explained it, but I just didn't want to leave out the group 2 members off my blog... I want to create sisterhood, not separation, know what I mean?
I understood perfectly...I thought about this but never finished my thought. Great idea! Thanks!

I have the same problem with my boyfriend and his disinterest in my hobby and passion.
But also, i am 27 and all my girly firneds are the same age, and not nearly as much into card making, stamping, and crafts as i am. They look at me like i'm crazy when i say i spent 2 hours in the craft store picking out ribbon and new inks!
Do you have a blog??? Would you like to join us? If you don't have a blog you we can link to your gallery. Check out the link to the SBS blog and it gives the details...it's a sisterhood anything goes.
Hugs

I fell in love with stamping and became an SU! demo in 2006 and then moved 30 miles away from my stamping friends a few months later. I show my DH every card I make, but try as he may, I can see through his fake "Cool. Nice. Uh huh. That's neat." So I started blogging.
I am no longer an SU! demo, but I still want to stamp (even if it's virtual) with someone. I don't want a club or anything huge, I just want a few close stamping pals. We can email, visit each other's galleries and blogs, and leave comments and give feedback. I want to get to know you as a friend (not in a creepy, stalking way--I promise!).
I live in Idaho. My best friend, my younger sister, lives far, far away in Cleveland. I don't have any really close friends where I live now--especially any that are stamping addicts like me. And I've suffered with depression and tend to keep to myself, when in reality I need to be branching out and connecting with people. So I want to find a friend that loves stamping as much as I do--it is therapy for me.
I'm a SAHM of two little girls, 4 and 2, and I rarely get a break or (adult conversation, for that matter), so sometimes I find myself stamping during the night...going to bed at 2 am when my DH is waking up to go to work. I spend most days with my girls at home. I love to blog and email with my trusty buddy, iMac.
Does anyone else out there (any continent, I even speak Dutch and Flemish) want to be my stamping & blogging pal?
would love to have you as a stampin talkin buddy. I live in upstate ny and have been stamping for only 1 1/2 years but am totally addicted to SU and other stamps, emblishments, etc. I too suffer from depression and also stay home a lot due to a disability from working as a nurse. My best friend is in Ohio too!!! We are like sisters so much so. Write back if interested. Evette

Yes, join the sisterhood. Read post #45 first and then go to http://sisterhoodofthebloggingstampers.blogspot.com/ and leave your name and blog address so we can get you signed up. Looking forward to it!

OK bloggin' experts---the newbie needs a bit of guidance!
I've created my new SBS blog and been able to do a few things with it (text color, adding pics, etc.), but I can't figure out how to change the background color (it's A LOT of green!!!) and I can't get my title the way I want it. I have a picture of the Rocky Mountains, but it winds up tiny and in the corner of the title section.
Any help out there....especially if you're a blogspot maniac? TIA!!!
You can edit it in Paint to the size that you want it to be...It's something like 280 X 750. If you want you can email it to me and I will see if I can help ya out.
Oh and to change the color of your blog. If you are on the main page of your blog (View Blog) click on CUSTOMIZE and then PICK NEW TEMPLATE. Change your template to a more preferred color/layout.
Hope that helps!

Okay, this method will require reading the html code, BUT it is worth it! Go to your blog. Go to your browser's menu "view" > page source (or something like that). Scroll down the html code until you find
/* Header
----------------------------------------------- */
The width above is how wide your header is in pixels. Subtract the padding from the width and you should have your header image width. (760-38=722 final) Which means the picture you upload for the banner/header must be no wider than 722 pixels. When you upload your pic into the header element, do NOT click on "shrink to fit." I don't think it really matters what the height is for your header image, but between 200-300 is usually good--it depends on what you like, I guess. Was that too technical, or did that help?

I'm no expert, but sometimes you can use just the width (760, in this instance) and it works perfectly. I can't figure out why. Perhaps ignore the padding part of my rotten explanation.
