My family and i spent new years in the seattle area with my husbands cousin. I knew Ellen Hutson's 'store' was in the area. Sooooo...went to check it out, not expecting to meet her..and i did!!!
I had my 4 year old daughter with me, and Ellen was talking to my lil one, engaging her as well. She showed us around her warehouse 'store', introduced us to everyone there...her daughter, her husband ( who was off from work so he was there helping)...her staff.
They are such a warm bunch! and Ellen was talking to me like her and i were long lost friends!!!
I cannot say enough about Ellen Hutson. And yes, i did a lil shopping..i wish i couldve spent more! But alas..i know i can shop from home as well.
I could say that visiting Ellen's store and meeting her completed my seattle area visit!!
I met Ellen at CHA and had an opportunity to learn a bit from her. She's such a genuine, kind and caring person. It was a highlight of my trip, for sure!
I have spoken with her on the phone, and she's a real sweetheart! You are so lucky to have met her "live and in person"!!! I'm sure it was a wonderful experience. She is truly a special lady!

I'm so jealous you got to go to her store and meet her. My home town is near Seattle and I go back and visit every year with my husband. But of course during my last visit, I didn't know about Ellen Hutson. I can't wait for our next trip in the summer! Your story just confirms how wonderful she and her entire staff are to everyone who's experienced their service. TFS

See..i knew people (at least in the stamping world) would be excited and happy and relate to how i feel. Thats why i couldnt wait to get home and share with you guys.
Hubby is supportive, obviously as he drove almost an hr to get me there. But he has no clue what a big deal it is to meet Ellen Hutson. Let alone his relatives ( but that fine with me). I have to show him the posts here.
I am so happy to let it all out!!! Im still giddy with excitement..LOL!
Ellen Hutson is indeed one of the warmest people Ive met and oh that beautiful smile!! I will try my darnest to visit her store again (and maybe see her again as well) next time we are in the seattle area.

We do not have a store - just an office/warehouse space, but we love to have you stop by - it makes our days special.
