Default I made a huge mistake

I made the cutest baby shower card today. I took a piece of scrapbooking paper, and cut it in half, thinking I had envelopes that would fit. Well, I don't have envelopes to fit the 6 x 6 card I made. Any suggestions?

Would the card fit inside a flat cello bag? Then you could seal it shut with a cute baby image stamped on sticker paper and punched out, or even a store-bought related sticker image . . . ????

How about making an envelope with a 12x12 piece of scrapbook paper?

It does fit in a cello bag. I'd love to make an envelope, but I don't know how to do that.

Just pretend you are wrapping a gift. Place your card in the centre of the 12x12 paper, fold all the triangular corners into the centre of the card, and adhere the corners together so the 'wrapping' stays closed with a sticker. HTH!

I have used it in the past when I've made odd sizes; I liked the result, but hope it works for you to your liking!

Bazzil sells ready made 6 x 6 envelopes in many colors.
I have seen them at the local scrapbooking store.

Who says you have to have an envelope? Can you incorporate it into the wrapping (tucked under the ribbon, tied to the ribbon, maybe I just like ribbon... ). Anyway, you could always play it off like you wanted to keep it out with the present!

I might tie a ribbon around the whole card (like around the fold) and tie that to the handle.

Love Julie's idea of using a cello bag as well if you want it to be seen!!
