Bag 'em, tag 'em and stamp 'em - - - - I went to TARGEEEE' this morning and my heart was racing it was like I couldn't get in the store fast enough.
Crazycatstamper (aka Lisa) told me about the silver, metallic pink and white little mail boxes!! - - in the DOLLAR SPOT - - much much cheaper than the ones I was just looking at at the craft store.
My heart is pounding and then I see them and there's only 5.........Call 911.
I had to have more - - for my club ladies. I looked around for an employee and saw the POPCORN lady and said "excuse me - could you call someone to help me here"
She came right over and she had to reach them - - -I took all, but the metallic pink one - - it was deformed.....LOL. I said "do you have anymore"
She said - -"are you going to be in the store? I wasn't --but if she was going to find out - - OF COURSE I WILL!! She said let me finish the popcorn and find out if we have more in the back!!
So, I walk the race track around Targeeeee' - - come back and OMG - -she had 6 more WHITE ones for me with the foam still wrapped around them.
After I THANKED HER UP DOWN AND ALL AROUND - - -I said any possibility of getting more??? She wrote on a napkin her number in the eatery place there and told me to call her tomorrow.
OKAY - - - brace yourselves - - here comes the good part and I DONE GOOD!!
She said "what do you plan on doing with them" BINGO!! I said well, I'm a STAMPIN UP DEMO and we'll place designer paper around them maybe stamp some flowers or something cut them out and place on the sides - -and then tie ribbons to the flag. She said "REALLY - that's sound cute" - - then she said, "wait let me have your number and I'll call you" - - - "how many more do you want?"
HOW MANY MORE DO I WANT?? The math part of my brain wasn't working -but I finally said oh a total of 20!! I really want more - -I'm a hoarder in case you want to know. She said she would call me. Driving home, I know why - - I learned this in another store - -they can't talk personal to a customer.
So, I'm getting ready to leave that area and I held one up and said "WOULD YOU LIKE TO LEARN HOW TO DECORATE ONE - - I have a MONTHLY STAMP CLUB"
AND BINGO - - - she said Yes, I think so - - "that's why I'll call you and we can talk more"
I checked out - -walked to my car no floated to my car on CLOUD NINE - - it doesn't happen often - - but DO YOU NOT LOVE THAT FEELING when it does??
I told these would be March's projects, because I already have January and Februarys figured out -- but when I speak to her - - I'm going to invite her to both...........if she wants!!
So, thank you Lisa, and I'll be on cloud nine all day long now!! :p
THIS JUST IN - - - My upline just called me and her CLUB IS FILLED TO THE BRIM - - so she gave me the name of this lady to call!! YAHOOOOOOOOO!!
I'm not quite filled yet - - but I'm getting there. What a great day it is.
So I called, no answer, but I left a nice message to have her call me back and I said she was WELCOMED on the 20th !!
Good for you! I have not once in all the years that Target has sold the mailboxes in the dollar spot ever seen them in the stores. All the demo must rush and snag them up. And even with 2 demos, not one of them has offer to do the mail boxes as a class. They've used them for their own children to give away. lol That's fine. I don't have a use for them, so I don't "need" any.

Oh, what a great story! I love it when happens, I call it "dizzily happy" when you get that feeling like your head is swirling in a positive euphoric way. Yay for you!
That's awesome! I could feel the excitement in your story! I love when things like that happen! When you talk to her and invite her to come, I'll bet she's got at least ONE friend that would want to do it, too!

Wow, what a fun story that is. You never know when you'll find your next customer.
I still have 40 of these little white mailboxes from when I went to 3 different Target's last year (or was it the year before that they were all the rage???) and bought them out. I had a class and even sent some abroad. Now the rest are sitting in a huge box in my storage area.......can you say HOARDER and compulsive buyer????
