I had not cleaned my craft room(s) in ages until we moved then I had no choice. I have enough foam pop dots, adhesive removers, tape runner refills and 12x12 paper to last 10 lifetimes. It was fun finding lost treasures like a missing Christmas stamp.

What stops me from buying is "trying" to clean up my crafting area. I then realize I have enough. But then of course I lie down until that feeling passes, lol.......
I have a teeny tiny craft room that doubles as an office, so storage is extremely limited. I look at my stuff and think, "Girl, you've got way too much junk! You will never use it all."
And then I sit down to craft and think, "Darn! I could really use (fill in the blank)."

Ain't that the truth. Happens also when I am reading other people's blogs!
I venture into my room and rediscover good stuff which is so much better than what's in the shops at the moment that it - perversely - helps me not to spend. Well, not to spend so much, anyway.
I read somewhere ages and ages ago that multiple unfinished projects are the sign of a creative mind - I've sort of been comforting myself with that thought ever since! That being said, I canNOT function in clutter (too much visual stimulation and I freeze - so many choices and I want them ALL), so I have to keep things more or less "put away". If/when I'm "organizing" (again), THAT is when my room looks like a tornado blew through, lol...
