I hate it when I have a spare few hours to stamp and so to get the juices flowing I log on to SCS and the next thing I know 2 hours has passed by and my free time has not seen anything stamped but has filled my mind full of ideas and no time to accually get them out.
Do you ever feel like me? I hate it! (but in a good way)!
There is no other site that makes me fuels me like this one and there is always something new to learn, read, see, and challenge myself with.
I LOVE this site and I can't thank you wonderful members who inspire me, support me and waste my time!!
I'm right there with you! It is really hard to be disciplined to step away from this place. Fortunately, I'm starting to get the clue sooner that it's all for naught if I don't get myself in the stamp room!
This happens to me all the time too. There is so much to see and learn. Sometimes I'm almost overwhelmed by the ideas, there are so many techniques to try out and new stamps to buy!
Me too, me too!!!! This happens all the time to me ... I never seem to get any cards made ... but I have tons of stamps and supplies!
Amen sistah - same here....spend hours on here, every day, and have 6 cards in gallery, none to upload, and about $1000 or more worth of supplies in my not yet finished craft room...What is wrong with me? Thinking about putting computer in craft room so I can swing the chair back and forth ... anyone tried that?

I have my computer in my craft room but I still find myself sitting at the computer desk instead of my craft desk.
Yesterday I finished printing off all of the TLC 1- 183 so now my challenge is to do a TLC CC and SC each day. Maybe I should make a deal with myself that if I get one of each done I can then come on to SCS as a reward for getting my cards done!! Wish me luck with that.
My craft desk sits right behind my computer so I turn my chair and look at the computer as needed. I love/hate it. I love it when I'm watching tutorials and I can do the project while watching the video... I hate it because I feel claustraphobic.... oh well. What's a lil claustraphobia when you're craftin'?
Oh I hear ya Sistah!!! I have spend hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of hours ( I hope I am way over exaggerating!!) on the computer either on SCS or blog hopping. Sure I love doing it but then next thing I know it's bed time or it's so late that by the time I do go and made a card it's 2:00am before I get to bed. It's an awful habit (in a good way....LOL!!!) Am I a card maker or a wannabe card maker?!? ;)
Okay, I have some relief for you ladies! LOL I too can get hooked on SCS, so here is what I do. I spend time on SCS, but when I see a card idea that I would like to try, I print a picture of it. Then when it's time to play I have pictures sitting their waiting to guide me in my cardmaking. Works like a charm and I make several at one sitting without interruption. Hope this helps!
My PC is on my craft desk, I just have a little rack that I can sit the keyboard in when I need the space. It works not too badly; I keep up with blogs and whatever that way. But I do more of my gallery browsing in the mornings before work. DH has to get up and leave a good bit before me, so when he gets up I make a cup of tea and take his laptop back to bed with me . And then I use the evenings for catching up on challenge uploads and commenting. But if I worked full-time instead of part-time, it would be a lot harder to fit everything in, that is for sure.
Oh yeah - me too! I would have a lot more done - cards and scrapbooking. Usually I come to get an idea or two.....a couple hours later - I'm still here! Love this place.

Yep, same here. What is really annoying is when I see something I want to try and I do not have the supplies used to do it. I then spend more time trying to find "it" and "it" is usually sold out EVERYWHERE! By the time I do find "it" and get "it" there is something NEW and more exciting to try. It's a vicious circle I tell you!
