I just stumbled on a gallery with very few comments! Take a look, I think she does really nice work. It's not over the top but well done and original.
See what you think.
Her style is beautiful...and I actually met her once in WI!! She's super sweet and teaches some of the classes at Gina K. Designs. I'm hoping that Gina can get her to start a blog - I'd be one of her loyal readers.
I think this is fairly typical (not saying her gallery is typical!) of what a person can find on SCS if you hunt. With thousands of uploads a day, there are most likely hundreds and hundreds of galleries that have few comments, but the work is great.
I guess all a person can do is keep your eyes peeled and reveal your "find" to everyone else!

I agree!
I actually stumbled apon her gallery yesterday and was thinking her cards were so cute and original! What a coincidence!;)
Thank you, Heather! You have all made me feel so special with your kind words...
Kurtis is right - I'm lucky enough to work and teach for Gina at her store in McFarland. I have had the privilege of meeting lots of new stamping friends through her store - and look forward to meeting many more over time!
Have a wonderful day everyone and thanks again for brightening mine!

I agree - there are loads of undiscovered beauties on SCS uploaded every day. If only we had more time to browse each day....
I love everything Jessica makes! You should see the beautiful cards and scrapbook things she has created. They are all over the store and I am lucky to be able to enjoy them daily.
Jessica is not only a wonderful stamper, but she is a wonderful person. She is helpful, kind and a great friend!
I am blessed that she called me and wanted to share her talents here at my store!

How nice of you to point out her terrific gallery. I can't figure out how it is that perfectly nice cards get ignored, but others seem to attract dozens of comments in the gallery. Thanks for sharing her work with us~
Wouldn't it be great to make this something regular? Like if we find a gallery that is unknown, only has a few comments and the work is WOW, let the moderators know. Perhaps they could do a posting on "unknown stamper featured on Monday". There would be no casing required....simply letting other stampers know of a galllery that was discovered!

Just an idea!!
That's a great idea. Hey mods are you seeing this?
I think her gallery is great. I feel like you have to be a fairly popular poster and participate in the weekly challenges to get lots of comments though, There's so many cards posted every day it's just easier for people to check out the galleries of people in the threads they're posting in. I'm not complaining in case somebody thinks so. I'm completely satisfied being an unknown with my own little gallery and my style is nothing like the "comment grabber cards". But I do enjoy looking at those cards when I have the time!
I really like your work. More my style in cardmaking. I'm going to have to case a few...
Thanks for showing us. I would of never found it by looking, dont really have all the time to go through each gallery.

Another vote for this idea.
There's probably A LOT of unnoticed talent here at SCS just because of its sheer size (and lack of time to spend all day EVERY day surfin' the gallery!!). Another contributing factor is the big focus on the challenges--if you participate you tend to get many more comments; if you're just postin' to post, it's tough to "compete," KWIM?
This is a great thread!! I find between work and the kids I do not get to surf many galleries. I barely get my own cards uploaded I am about 25 behind! I mostly stay within the PSF thread (and now the DORKS) so I think this is great!! One a day I could handle!!
I love your gallery jessjean! Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks for sharing her great gallery. I remembered seeing her on Gina K's blog a little while back but her gallery is just great and should be appreciated as well. I like that her style is not "stuck" in the same identifiable style, if you know what I mean. Very nice. I like the ideas you've mentioned about bringing out less "well known" stampers on this site. There is a lot of great work out there.

I can't believe she only has a few commentsl. I love her and have looked at her cards before. Maybe everyone is as guilty as I am and just didn't take the time to comment......JessJean is great.
All of your nice comments on my gallery are so sweet of you! SCS is the best and you have all really made me feel blessed and thankful again for this amazing hobby and website!
I'm embarrassed that my comment will bring this thread back up to the top, but I just had to reply to all your sweet words...
Thanks again for brightening my morning with your kind words!
Jessica
Thanks for the heads up on her gallery! The cards are so consistently beautiful and love the variety. Great idea about highlighting some of the galleries. You have a wonderful gallery jessjean!
