I didn't order anything ONLINE. Does that count? I did make a run to Michael's at lunch. Seriously, though, I applaud you for making it through one day w/o buying anything.
Good for you, Joan---unfortunately for me, I purchased a Cuttlebug, and dies and folders for it and I found the Mega Scallop Oval punch online and ordered that too--Whew!!!!!!. Now I need to take a few days off---Well actually I will be waiting for my deliveries and then once they are here, I am sure I will be buying many more things to feed my habit
You didn't get anything from Eureka Stamps? I bet there sale is better than it would have been at the Heirloom Stamp show this weekend.
And how bout Ribbons and Bows oh my. Did you order your grosgrain?
Ya know that sale ends in 2 days. Some of the stuff I wanted yesterday was already sold out.
They do have a lawyabella...not that I am encouraging you or anything....
NO NO NO YES YES... off to check out. You guys are killing me, but I asked for it. I must state "for the record" that I didn't bite at the ribbon sale at ****************** -- I have sooo much ribbon, but a lawyer stamp! I've got to see this.........

I got some ribbon at JoAnne's on my lunch hour...But I used Christmas money...nothing from our joint checking account, LOL! I showed mighty restraint and didn't buy everything I wanted to. :-)
Joan - I read an article the other day about a group of people who didn't buy anything new for a whole YEAR. Yikes![/QUOTE]
Not buy anything for a whole Year, where this people on earth, or on a shuttle mission. I don't think I could make it a week, let a lone a year. Wow

I thought i'd make it through today without a single purchase...it's 8:39 and Target is only 20 minutes away, open until 10:00 and *might* *possibly* have those cute mailboxes...
I am literally staring at the clock trying to see if I have enough energy to make it there by 10:00
I thought I was a shopaholic before I started stamping, I had no idea!!
I didn't need to spend any more money. I am awaiting orders from both inkyantics and from joann.com. Spent way too much money on myself the last week or so.
Wel, I wisht that I could say that I was as good today as you have been Joan. I did buy the Crop A dile (Sp) from HSN and than went to Michaels and purchased a few things from there. Now I am off to watch some more of the HSN show. The night is still young.
Get this --I haven't bought anything since SUNDAY when I went to Michael's & found some Cuttlebug folders!! I, too, have spent the entire week taking down all our Xmas stuff --2 trees plus LOTS of decor, plus the outside lights since it's been 50 here in Wisconsin all week!!! I've been too busy to think of shopping! GASP!!
This thread has given me my laugh for the day. I didn't buy anything today either but mainly because I couldn't get the eureka site to work all day. Must be an overload of the site with their BIG SALE!!
These people who didn't buy for a year...what???
Poor souls are missing out on all those cool A2 embossing folders (I think I ordered about 15 of those in the past week).
Thank you to all the SCS enablers. You keep my checking account active!!

I went to my big paper outlet place strictly for a box of A2 envelopes and bought on top of that--16 sheets 12 x 12 papers and-- 6 pieces of 8.5 x 11 velveteen papers---a TREAT!
From there I went to AC Moore to get 8x8 refill pages for a friend's album I am making, and I also bought a box of memory book glue dots and a 2 1/8" square punch that was my other TREAT!

Wish I could say the same! I mentioned this on another thread earlier today butI broke my foot on Wed and have had WAY too much time on this site. Today it was embossing templates from a online site recommended on here and those great BELLA stamps...I think I need to recover quickly as this could be expensive being home
