mine only seems to have a problem with me being on the computer talking about stamping... stamping doesn't bug him, but he can't understand how I can be online talking about it so much

That's funny Martha I do the same thing - can't wait for him to go to bed!!!

I never knew anyone who actually played the bagpipes! Cool. My hubby is supportive, especially since I do ALL the finances and he has NO clue! As long as he has money to golf when he wants, surf when he goes to San Diego, or work on his pre-runner truck, he will never dream of saying much. Plus I use all of my stuff most all of the time! I am always making cards or preparing for the workshops I finally began to have this year! I also informed him that though I have a lot, there are so many more people out there with WAY more that me! I have not ventured far from SU! products and don't even know what cuttlebugs or Cricuts are!! I know I am CLUELESS!!
I'm sure I'll learn as I just recently became a member of SCS!!

Since I discovered SCS, I have become a late night stamper and stalking on SCS. It is just naturally a good time to do it because everyone is in bed and I'm not expected to do anything else (except sleep). It was so alien to my husband that I was up late at night a lot and he kept getting out of bed in the middle of the night to check on me from time to time. I figured it out later that he thought I had an internet boyfriend. That's a hoot.
My stamping friends nicknamed my DH "Rubber Hauler". He used to go to all the Rubber Stamp Conventions and sit at the "testosterone table" with 4 or 5 other regulars and everytime I made a purchase, I'd come add it to the big bag at the table. The only time he gets cranky is when I'm using the heat tool or other noisy stuff late at night. He says the crop-a-dile is the best $30 he's ever spent... no more eyelet pounding!
Whenever my DH sees me NEAR the computer he says "get off of Splitcoast"LOL! Most of the time he's teasing, and to be honest I usually am only on for a little while at night. (the rest of the time I view at work!)

Mine is so used to me not doing anything creative for long periods of time, that when I do something he asks if I need to make a trip to the doctors office. :P

This thread is hilarious - my DH is really supportive and never says anything about my stamping. In fact, lately I've been commenting to him about how I'd really like this new machine called a cuttlebug...hint, hint...and he said he'd make sure our kids know that's what I want for Mother's Day! ;) He even asked if he should take the 40% coupon out of the Michael's ad to buy it! Smart guy!
You're home free -- you've got him clipping coupons!!! Well done.

LOL that's a good man - my hubby will pull the coupon out of an extra paper too if he can! Gee, they are trained well
My stamping freind's brother usually calls whenever we are together and he calls our group "The Cardboard Club". It's a funny joke between all of us now. Although he has been known to attend Cardboard Club (just to chat) of course and he has also purchase Stampin Up merchandise (the cutter kit)!
My DH actually tells me I don't stamp enough, that I spend $ on stamps but hardly stamp. I tell him it is hard with a lil one wanting me all the time. I stamp when she goes to school or at nite when she is getting ready to go to bed. But I do stamp when I have to get a COTM or LOTM out or for a certain occasion.
My DH is wonderful and knows better. The stamps were part of the deal when we got married. I started stamping in 1995, and we met in 2002. He thought it was all pretty cool. We bought a four bedroom house so I would have my own art room and he has his own music studio. We have monthly allowances and our own checking accounts for play money. That way we can spend what we want, and the other person can't say anything about it. His new hobby is bowling, I had to tread carefully when he told me his shoes were $125!
I don't get a lot of time to stamp as I work 50-60 hours a week and travel for my job. When I tell him I want to stamp, it is his time to play video games which I dispise.
My hubby is great - he is so supportive and understanding. Always complimentary about everything I make.
If I'm going out for the day craft shopping or to a class I usually come down to breakfast to find a note telling me "to have a good time and buy lots of nice things". He's also done bulk die cutting to help me get ready for a class - willingly I might add!
He even manages to look and sound enthused when I show him all the new goodies I've bought (yep - I never have to hide anything!)
My friend Debbie and I went to a class yesterday at an LSS and she came home with me and stayed with us for dinner. During the evening the Ikea catalogue came out. Hubby saw a fab chest of drawers that revolved and said "that would make great stamp storage". Debbie and I looked at each other in amazement and then roared with laughter. I guess he's truly assimilated - well, he knew resistance was futile!

It's okay, not too cool when he's playing in the house, though--at least when I stamp, I'm quiet! He calls SCS "crack for stampers"!! I mostly think he's joking...
