I am having a party with about 15 people in the dining room at our church. I am in search of some fun snacks to serve. I had a party a couple of months ago and had chips and salsa and veggies. What do you like to snack on at a stamp party.
I am not a demo - just asking a question for stamp party attenders.

Oh how sweet Heaven sounds when you have sent a loved one there.
There is a huge push for chocolate in several posts this morning. I was that chocolate link on another topic this morning and have already been to that web site.
At a weddin we attended recently they had a chocolate fountain. On this table was a 3 foot high fountain with melted chocolate just flowing down for the 3 hours that we sat there. You go to the table and pick out what you want to have dipped in the chocolate, i.e., strawberries, bananas, graham crackers, pretzels, cherries, marshmellows. Killing me. I asked the lady how many people have asked to stick their tongue in it - because of course that is what I wanted to do.

A great idea, using chocolate of course, is to purchase some of the chocolate in grocery stores that's for dipping. Serve it with apple slices, whole strawberries, pretzels, graham crakers (or something like Teddy Grahams) and my favorite, bite size chunks of angel food cake.
You get the sweet, the salty and have just plain low calorie stuff for people on diets. Sicne it's a church you know they'll eat a lot (they do at my church), and this is not expensive at all and goes over very well at parties.
Hope this helps some. Have a great time at the party!

The best party I ever attended in terms of sales was when I was still in CA and we did a wine and cheese stamping party, but you can't do that at a church. I'm not a chocolate person but love veggies and crackers with cheese. My fav is chips and salsa.
Hey,
I have a great little treat that involves chocolate and is really easy to prepare. Ingredients: rolo candies, mini pretzels and pecans. Place mini pretzels on a foil lined cookie sheet. Place a single rolo candy in the middle of each pretzel and place in a 250 oven for 4 minutes. Remove from your oven and press a pecan right on top of the rolo candy. Let cool and place in fridge till you're ready to serve. Sounds a bit funky but I served them at my last party and everyone loved them! Have fun!
Go to the your local WalMart Super Center; their sugar cookies with the bright colored frosting is the best!!!! My demo gets those for her stamp camps, along with the mini candy bars (more chocolate) and trail mix. Sometimes, cheese and crackers. But gotta love them cookies!!!

Kim,
I have one similar to this that my daughter helps me make for Christmas every year. I take the circle pretzles (ya' know...the ones that look like the letter "O"), place a Hershey's Hug (unwrapped) in the middle of each pretzle. Pop it into the oven until the Hug is soft and then press a M&M in the center to flatten the Hug. At Christmas time we use the green and red M&M's. Everyone loves these. They're really cute and very EASY (which is so important to me!)
Gosh did someone say CHOCOLATE???? I want chocolate...must have chocolate!! I haven't had any in a week or so. I love it but it doesn't like me! I get really cranky and emotional after I eat it. boohoo!
