I am a SU! hobby demo and generally only buy from myself so I know nothing about these particular markers but am very interested! Is this a good deal? Would you recommend these markers? If I wanted to color in stamped images, what kind of ink would I stamp with? Thanks!
Shana, I'm not an alcohol marker expert AT ALL, but having drooled a bit, I'd say this is a pretty good deal... but you'd have to want and use what's in this set. If you're not at all into coloring books, than doing this "just" for the markers is probably only an okay deal, if you're in the market for them. Hard to tell if this would have all the colors you'd want - it isn't a "complete" set or anything. And I'd read up on peoples' opinions of the Spectrum Noir before I'd buy this... reviews are a bit mixed.

Thank you for your response! I have started to get into the coloring books a little bit, so I think I will like those. My kids are in sports and we sit around a lot, so I thought that would be an easy way to do some crafting while I wait.

I noticed they have some auto-shipments to complete some of the marker sets, and with additional coloring books. if you are just getting started, they have the markers grouped into blending groups for you. I don't use that brand, so I'm not sure if you can refill them which may or may not be a drawback for you. Yet, it's not a big financial investment, so you are getting a pretty good deal.
Having been a long time user of Copic markers (another alcohol marker), and just getting familiar with Chameleon markers, I only bought the books. I enjoy coloring and since my grandkids do as well, I send off the ones I'm not as wild about, since they really don't care, they just love to color!
Good luck and have fun, that's the important part!!
I couldn't stand it any longer so I just went ahead and bought them. They seemed to get good reviews and they have to be better than SU's failed Blendabilities. I'm excited to try something new!
I have a lot of Spectrum Noir markers and use them frequently. I like them, especially for the price.
The first generation markers in this brand had a tendency to dry out, but you can fix them with denatured alcohol. They used to sell them at Joanns and I got quite a few sets of the older ones. The newer versions don't dry out, and I think you will be pleased with them.

I caved too the other day and got this set - and they already arrived!!! I wasn't going to, since I have other markers, but thought rather than use my Copics for coloring books, this smaller set might be nice. The flash drive with all the pictures is so worth it!!! There are over 700 images, and they are also available in shapes of hearts, circles, ovals, rectangles, hexagons, etc, as toppers for your cards! You'll never run out of images to color and use. If you got auto ship, you get a new flash drive with each shipment for each season. This ended up a better deal than I thought!!!
After seeing this thread, I turned on HSN at about 8pm and watched until the craft day went off the air. It was lots of fun watching the markers, Anna Griffin, and more. I'm happy to say, though, that I had great strength, and bought nothing.
