Is PSX a company? What does that stand for?
15.00 for a single stamp is my limit.
Ebay does do crazy things to people and I don't doubt for a minute that bid is legitimate.

That has happened to me a couple of times also. So I look at the winning bid and it will say: Bid Activity with this seller 100%. I just say no thank you.

PSX stands for Personal Stamp Exchange. This company is no longer in business, unfortunately -- their stamps (especially from the Botanicals line) were gorgeous!

I can't believe that price. I can't believe that people cheat on ebay with shill bidders. I have tried to buy from that specific seller before and everything goes for more than it should on the ones I have been interested in and so I've never actually bought anything from them.

To answer the question...

The most I have paid for a single stamp is catalog price for a background stamp.

I dont think I would ever pay that much for a stamp..that one isnt even cute to me...I am not sure what I would pay for a stamp I really wanted but I can say it would not be that high.
blessings.

$20 is the most I've ever paid for a stamp, it's *very* large and I was at a convention and knew I'd probably never find it again so I bought it.

There are alot of hard to find PSX stamps that go for big bucks, I've sold a few on Ebay , not for $50 but for alot more than I originally paid for them. People think of them as collectors items.

There is one PSX stamp I routinely look for and haven't found yet. I'm not sure what I would pay for it.
