For the first time I have made invitations for someone for a party they are throwing. For those of you out there that do this and charge, I'm wondering how much you would charge?
Just a brief description, they are 3 layers, 5x7 one sheet invites. I embossed a stamp image and computer printed the rest of the info. I added 4 eyelets, one to each corner, and a ribbon at the top.
What do you think the going rate for 40 of these would be?

I would say at LEAST for supplies... Is this a friend of yours, or just someone random? For a friend, I would just charge supplies. For someone random, I'd charge for supplies plus a buck a card... that's reasonable, right?

I agree with Jen. If a good friend/relative, at least charge for supplies, so you're not out anything. If it were me, I'd probably charge $50 for the lot, $10 for supplies and a dollar per invite. It would be hard to buy invites for that price! Just my 2 cents.
