I only have twelve... nothing I can't live without except Sketch an Event and Shapes and Shadows, those were two best sellers for me because they were all-around type beginner sets. Now I'm glad I didn't buy the backgrounds I wanted last month--two would have been retired!

I lost 10 sets, and I only just got some of them! :( I only (lol) have 45 sets so I lost almost 25% of them, and I've been thinking about becoming a Demo, so this gives me pause...

I only have 6 on the list and 3 of them are b/g stamps. Is kind of odd that they have a sale on those and then retire a lot of them. I don't own any of the alphabet sets, but I am guessing they are going to have some clear sets coming out. Seems like they are cleaning house on the alphabet sets and b/g's.

Only 2 from this list. A bunch of mine are retired from previous years. I am not a demo so I just keep what I love (forever and ever and ever...)

Considering I've sold most of my SU and am down to about 20 sets + 10 backgrounds, that is a significant chunk!! Oh well I'm not a demo, so I don't really care!
MamaK, It's very hard to believe that you only have 20 sets and 10 bg. You make so many gorgeous cards. Maybe you are onto something......if I pared down my stash maybe I would be able to focus more. LOL

This hadn't occured to me....now I'm sad about the tulips even though I already have it and I'm not a demo. I love everyones cards. Along the same line, I have to have Toile Blossoms now before it's gone because everyone posts such gorgeous cards with it.

Only 5! I'm pleasantly surprised! There are also only 5 retiring sets on my "must have" list. All in all I'm doing pretty good!

Only 2 - Paris in the Spring & Elegant Ornaments. There are only 1 or 2 on my wish list - and they're not "gotta haves". May be able to (finally) save some money!

I lost 6 sets and 4 backgrounds. I am really sad about Shapes and shadows. that is one of my favorites. There is only 1 wheel that I want to go with one of my sets.

There are only 3 that I have that are retiring, and one that I have from last year that retired, so that's a total of 4. Good news though, there's only one on the list that I want.

Just glancing at it I think I have 25 that are on there! It does not look like my list of one's to buy will too terribly long though! That's a good thing!

I have fifteen sets being retired. Seven were Hostess or Sell-a-bration sets and one background. Now to look through and see what I must have before I can't get them any more.

Just from the retiring list, I have 16 sets going bye bye (at least -- i can't quite remember if I have Newsprint Alpha). The saddest thing? 6 of those 16 sets I just bought in the last 2 months and have barely had a chance to use! *sigh* Stupid addiction to Background stamps may have killed me....

Little Layers
Mini Messages
Simple Somethings (just got and love)
Flower Garden
Delicate Dandelions (just got and have barely used!)
By Definition
Houndstooth (such a nice masculine one!)
Bamboo II
Linograph (hasn't even been shipped yet)
Soft Swirls
Vogue Verses (just got)
Handmade With Love II
Simple Type Alphabet
Simple Type Numbers
Tidy Alphabet
Tidy Numbers

*sigh sigh sigh* I'm a sad panda... This doesn't include all my indulgences with the mini catalogues! And I blame it all on SCS, you guys make me want almost every stamp set in the book! Darn you and your creativity! Hehehe... Man, I bet some of the stampers on here could have made me want Children of the Corn...ok, maybe not... Would have made some nice scary halloween cards though...

I have TEN that are going to retire. One BG that I have been planning and getting rid of for a long time anyway.

Bamboo II which I haven't even received yet. Oh well. I love it and hopefully will use it a tonne. Need to buy the oriental brushstrokes to match the BG stamp though!

Yikes is right! You must own a ton, to have that many that are retiring.
I think I have 17, two of which are backgrounds that I just purchased, and several of which are either SAB or hostess sets that I earned.

There are a few on the list that I have been thinking about, but I think I can live without. There are one or two that I think I am going to go ahead and buy. I have to go back over it, because, as someone else said: sometimes I don't remember if I bought it, or if I was thinking about buying it.;)

I have 30 that are on the list. The list doesn't include all the SAB, hostess and mini catalog sets I have which is almost all of them. I don't ever feel the need to get rid of retired stamps. I only get rid of them if I don't use them which I've only done a few times and regretted it every time! My stamps are KEEPERS even if they are retired! I will be buying some on the retired list though. I've been thinking about toille blossoms... hmmmm...
I am so excited to see the new catty! Can't wait to see the new sets! I'm POSITIVE I'll want some of those!

You sold most of your SU stuff? I never would have guessed. Are you just going to borrow your sister's stuff, or so you just like other stamps better? Somehow, I imagined that you had an entire room filled with SU stuff.

WOW! You guys have more sets that are retiring then I have in my whole collection! I'm only losing 3 sets and one BG. I found it odd that so many BG were retired right after the promo? Made me go,HUM---but this is my first retired list, so there you go! (I know there was someone else mentioned this too!)

I have 44, but about half I don't even like because they were SAB or hostess sets. I really got suckered by the background sale , I bought 9 and have 7 retiring. Oh well, I've never gotten rid of a set, I think it's time to start.

24 on the list (7 of them backgrounds). I am a demo, but for hobby only and I am a background "junkie" so I will keep all of mine. I love all my stamps, so will not get rid of any (yet anyway). Nothing on the retiring list appeals to me and I do not like the Summer catalog, so I am eagerly awaiting the 2006-2007 Catalog!

I have 28 (1 background). I'm not a demo, so I will keep all of mine (for now). There is nothing on the retired list that I desperately need to have. So I'm good for now. Time to start saving my "mad" money for the summer mini and new catalog.

I have 18 (that's counting the alphabet & numbers separately). Three of them are backgrounds that I've bought since January 2006. Six are previous hostess or SAB sets. It's not that big of a deal to me since I'm not a demo. I do have to admit I was surprised to see Terrific Tulips go.

I only have two and both are backgrounds. It's pretty amazing since I just stocked up on background stamps and the only ones I have that are retiring are By Definition and Soft Swirls.

I will probably buy Toy Box and Ribbons, Bows, and Twinkletoes...they will be great for scrapbooking. I can't believe they're retiring Crayon Kids...especially since they just had it on special with the matching wheel.

Terrific Tulips seems to be a popular one that people have on their wish list...it's one of my favorite, I may have to get it

Oh well...

Default retiring sets

I have 65 sets not including SAB and Hostess sets, plus I still have a lot from last year that are retired. Will have to have a huge cleanout!

43 and 6 are bg's. Funny too, I just ordered 3 bg's that are to be delivered on Wed. and 2 of them are retiring, ha! I plan to keep them regardless.
