I was looking at the new cards in the CAS gallery and saw a lovely one by indycurt (Simple Christmas Scene by indycurt - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers) and realized that there is at least one male member of SCS. I've been a knitter for many years and am thrilled to see more and more men taking up knitting but I've yet to be aware of many men taking up stamping and card-making.
So I'm curious - are there very many of you out there?

Hey Susan! Thank you so much for your very sweet comments you emailed me. I'm honored and flattered. There are very few of us out there, but we do exist. I was only aware of Ted here, but I've listed 2 or 3 on my blog that I've happened upon while visiting other blogs. I noticed that you are from Canada! I have so many friends/followers from Canada. You folks are some of the nicest people I've met. Again, thanks so much for "noticing" me, and too for the very nice comments. I visited your gallery here and I love your style. You do clean and simple so well which is a talent I envy. I really love the clean lines of your cards and lack of clutter. So nicely done.
I can't remember his name - no, I do. Andrew is pretty active on the CTMH threads, and Pat Smether's husband (the Buckle Man) has a gallery and I sometimes see cards made by him here and there. And Mr. Hambo .
My DH makes cards from time to time - sometimes origami, but sometimes he asks to be left at my desk for a few hours to make something for me.
There was another guy doing amazing stuff with the Stampscapes stamps but I can't find him in the Stampscapes gallery so either he removed his gallery or didn't use keywords.
My husband makes cards but does not upload them to a gallery. I get great cards for Valentine's, Anniversary, and birthday. He had taken some time off from working after going through chemo, although, did not predict that the economy would nosedive, so the time off was longer than expected. He found card making helped fill his days and it was a great way to be creative. He was completely hooked by the heat gun used for embossing. I usually let him pick out the stamp sets that he likes from the SU catalog.
He has been working for a little over a year now, so the card making train has come to a screeching halt unless it is for a special occasion.
Ted is great. There's this guy, too - { Daniels Hobbyblogg } - he is a brilliant collage artist and is just starting off in art school. Not sure if he is on SCS though.
Thank you all for the kind words and thanks to Amy for letting me know I'm mentioned.
I am glad to see this thread because I want to check out the other 17 male crafters in the entire world! ;)
I love Curt's stuff and his stories and anecdotes are always fun. Jason, I've known for ages and I'm looking forward to checking out these other blogs.
Now, if I can get some crafting tools (Cuttlebug, Cricut, etc.) in a dark navy blue, I'd be set! *grin*
Again...I am grateful to those who have mentioned me.
Thanks to all who've replied so far. I'm having a great time checking out all the cards by the men who've been mentioned. And thank you, Curt, for the kind comments about my cards and about us Canadians!

I haven't had a chance to check out the guys' galleries yet, but I definitely plan to do so. I just enjoyed so much reading all these fun posts. It's nice to see a little love fest goin' on!

I just bought a Cricut Expression and it is black, although not all of them are. Cuttlebugs are a light green - not the worst color for a guy. At least they are not pink!
Curt O'Brien is another papercrafter that I recently discovered and his work is beautiful! I don't know if he has a Gallery here on SCS, but he has a blog called Curt's World. Not sure if I am allowed to put a link here, but if you use a search engine, you will find it - do a search on curtsplayhouse blogspot.
I also visit Mike Funke's Stampin' Style blog (which has already been mentioned) and it's fab too.
