I made cards all day. DH was more than happy to celebrate National Card Making Day with me. He hung out with me for a little while. Congratulations on the diamonds on the anniversary
I knew better than to even mention it. LOL! Otherwise, yes, he would have rolled his eyes. :-) He is very suppportive of my habit, though, since it's kind of my "job".
I really expected to get made fun of but my DH took care of the house, made dinner, cleaned the kitchen and even brought me tea right now! I am almost suspicious.....lol
My husband says it is a conspiracy against husbands so that the wives get to spend their money. He told me to go ahead and use all of the supplies I am hoarding and make as many cards as I like but that I wasn't spending an extra penny today I told him I would gladly sell his 750.00 fly fishing rod he just bought and save for National fishing day which for him is every cotton picking day!
Mine said, "Well I can make a card too! I'm sorry you have to work!" He's gonna do his on the computer, I can't talk him into stamping. He's awesome. I love him. He made me a margarita to celebrate.
I'm off to finally play!!

When I read the original post, I thought, "Geez - what would most Husbands say if you told them it was World CAR making Day??? They'd love it, wouldn't they???" But of course, I realise this was a typo - perhaps some of you who received the eyeroll should have run with the typo version - LOL!!!!!
My DH, just said, "So what makes today any different to any other day for you?" - of course, he's my biggest fan and gives me heaps of support, so he's allowed to make the occasional SA comment. Gotta love the boys, don't ya'!!!!
HA! I read the title, "how many husbands" and thought... just ONE! How many do YOU have?! Mwahahahaa!
I was smart enough to not even broach this subject with DH. He wouldn't get it. But then, he still wonders why we can shoot deer during deer season but not tourists during tourist season... he has issues with special days/seasons I guess...

Oh my, your dh sounds like mine. Tourist season (all winter long here) gives him the chills!
Dh didn't roll his eyes, or make any snide remarks. As soon as I told him, he rolled our Harley's out, and him, ds and the Greandmonster went for a ride!
Mine rolled his eyes, too. Then he asked, "When is it World Buy-a-Titanium-Bike Day?" I rolled my eyes back at him.
LOL! Mine had a similar comment "When is it going to be World-Make-a-Remote-Control-Airplane day?" Honestly........don't they realize this is serious???! lol!
My DH is a CCA correctional officer and as he was leaving for work (at 6 am), I tell him and he says, "So this means you won't be cookiing dinner tonight?"
Then he laughed and said did I know when national woodburning day was and could he take that day off? I told him we'd create a national woodburning day and he could take a vacation day.
He told me to have a fun day and out the door he went to work and I had 12 glorious hours!

I told him I was taking a painting/stamping on paper class at the stamp store. So he stuck a wad of money in my purse without me even saying I needed money. I won't tell you how much or you will hate me more.

I thought it would be something like, "How many husbands . . . would it take to screw in a lightbulb/ink up a stamp/make a card" or something like that when I first saw this thread.
