This is a GREAT thread - thanks, Lisa, for starting it! I
LOVE House Mouse stamps and I'm so thrilled to see them being uploaded more frequently on SCS. I've probably got about 20, some of them dating back quite a few years now (not even sure when they first came out - anyone know?). They USED to be sold exclusively through Stampa Rosa (who owned the rights), and before the days of online stamp stores, I could only get them through my local stamp stores. It was always funny...whenever a new shipment came in, all of us "House Mouse" lovers would converge on that shop and the shelves would be emptied quickly; then we'd have to wait patiently for the next shipment to arrive. I can also remember a trip to San Francisco many years ago when I purposely "routed" my family past the Stampa Rosa shop (no longer in existence) and was in heaven - an ENTIRE WALL of House Mouse stamps - every single one ever made in stock - and boy did I bring home LOTS of souvenirs that trip!
Anyhow, here's my favorite all-time House Mouse stamp, which I uploaded in July 2005 (back in the days of a bad scanner, lol). Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Think Fluffles in the form of a mouse... sort of. Just some cutesy little creatures always getting into something! If you search for "House Mouse" on ebay you'll find a bunch...

I just realized the irony of this, since Em was the one who told me what Fluffles was a week ago!
I have more than I want to count! (2 huge drawers full of stamps and 1 smaller drawer full of sayings) I just found a use for lots of them without having to make cards. I send images to Deeth1 and she makes them into cards for Keikecards for sick children. I am just getting started on this.
When I watercolor, I use Stazon and have never had a problem with it in any way.
I have over 30 plus lots of the sayings. My DH loves them and he is the one that bought me most of them. (We use to live in Santa Rosa home of Stampa Rosa) Sadly I haven't used them in a long time, but I have joined the swap and will be using one soon! I usually heat emboss in black and use my felt pens and aqua painter to color, but I have done chalks and then used my stamp positioner to restamp and heat emboss over what I chalked. They come out great that way. I will have to try the Prismacolor pencils now that I have the gamsol!
