I have four--two Christmas and two sort of generic ones. Love them so much! They look really wonderful colored with colored pencils, and now that I have stazon, I'm going to try watercoloring, too.
I think they are adorable and want to buy one but am afraid that they will be hard to color since they are so detailed. What method do you use to color them in? I know once I buy my first one I will be hooked and have to have them all!
I have about a dozen. I think they are the most adorable designs ever! I use Prismacolor pencils or WWC to color them. I buy mine directly from housemouse.com, where there are frequent specials and coupons if you are on their e-mail list. The images are also available on ready-made cards and dozens of other items. Everything I've purchased has been top quality.

Actually, they are very easy to color in with colored pencils. The designs are detailed, but I follow the shading of the image and have always been happy with how it turns out. And I'm no expert on coloring in! Give it a go--you won't be disappointed!
I used to have about 50-60 of them, but got rid of all of them on EBay - except 4 of my favorites... I loved them, but I never used them. Like all my other stamps (I have a huge wooden cabinet and those rolly carts full of stamps, not to mention the unmounted) but I always grab my SU sets!!!
I used to color them in with my pencils, that's the easiest.. And most of the HM stamps have the colored image on them so you can refer to that...
They are great though. If you buy thru their website they send you things all the time. And just make sure that you keep your wishlist full, they send you coupons for discounts on your wishlist..
Hugs,
Joani

I dont wan to even begin to count! If I count that would show my true addiction to collecting House Mouse stamps and Im sure my collection is no where near the amount of some of the ladies in the House Mouse group I belong to!
I use Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol to color the images. I also purchase all my House Mouse stamps from HM Stamps, Dick is wonderful to work with and all his HM stamps are discounted 25% off. ;)
What ever I own, it's all Jovi's fault! I've long admired her HM cards as her work is simply teriffic. She's also to blame for introducing me to Dick at HM Stamps where I just received my order of over, well let's just say quite a few HM stamps.
If I told you, I'd have to come and take all of your's to add to collection as the cost of the information! ;) I was a major "mouser" years ago when a stamp store was doing a mouse of the month stamp....the store has since changed hands and closed and I haven't had a ready source for these little cuties. Thanks for reminding me about them - I have several cute Christmas mouse stamps that need to come out to hiding and be used.
Not as many as I used to.... They used to do a Limited Edition Stamp of the Month with them.... I had a BUNCH of those. I think I have 6 or 7 still.....
I love House Mouse and have over 20. They are so cute and I don't have trouble coloring them. I just used an older one tonight and colored it with metallic rub on color on Q-tips.
I have 68, but that includes the coordinating sentiments as well as images. I color mine with my prismacolors, but agree they can be time consuming. I still love them though. A quicker way to do it is to use what I think is called the spotlighting technique. Stamp the whole image in Going Grey, then a small section of it in Basic Black (like a close up of a mouse face or something similar). Color only the small part and cut it into a square/circle etc. and then pop it over the same spot on the original image. Does that make sense? Probably not!
NOW I know I am stamping addicted. They are me second favorite (Stampin Up first) I have a list so I don't re-order and with the House Mouse sayings included I have 113. Because I have so many sometimes I just go through them and look at them. They always make me smile. Don't ask how many Stampin Up sets I have.

Do you emboss with Black? or use Stazon? When I use my gamsol and prisma on HM. I find that on the detail, the black rubs off..... then makes a rela mess ! :( any suggestions?

Thanks Erin for the kind words. ;) Isnt Dick great? I just received a couple new stamps last week from him and I havent had a chance to play with them, maybe tomorrow!

I dont emboss the images, I use Palette Noir, and the ink doesnt smear. I use to only stamp with SU Basic Black which worked great, until I had to get a new stamp pad, and then I noticed that my ink started smearing when I used Gamsol. Thats when I switched to Palette!
ladies I have a house mouse swap going on in fact 2 of them one for ATC and the other one is for just house mouse full cards christmas cards so if you are interested check out the swaps section .break them out and put them to use again.

I have 4 of them. Hobby Lobby runs 50% off specials from time to time and had a nice selection last week. Love their Christmas stamps. They are adorable!
Jovi,
Thanks for the link! this will definitely help me enlarge my collection! I used to use mine more, before I started selling Stampin' Up!. Now I have to look for ways to use my non-SU stamps. I've gotten rid of a bunch but I could never sell my mice!

I use pencils and a blender pen. It goes really quickly. It helps if you heat emboss the image first, then you can color it with anything!

I get my Palette Ink through TAC, but you can find it at for the same price. I'm not sure if BlockHeads carries the 1x1 cubes, I use the full size pads!
