I drove 3 1/2 for my SIL's workshop, am going back next month to do another one, and am considering driving about 5 hours for one of her guests. But only once! My intention is to do the workshop and then say "someone needs to sign up so that they can take care of all of these customers (her guests), since I can't be around to do it...even though I'm THRILLED to take orders over the phone!" :->

In a slightly different vein, my demo has a woman who comes once a week from a town 74 miles (120 km) away on a fairly difficult highway that goes through some mountainous areas. I don't like to drive it in daylight in good weather and she comes on a week night, through a dark Canadian winter. Now that's dedication (and a tribute to our talented demo Mel).

I have driven 12 hours (from Washington to California)! I did two workshops when I got there, one for my MIL and one for my SIL. It was so sweet of them to be so supportive! (Of course I stayed for a few days to visit so I'm not totally sure this one counts).
I am flying over 20 hours to do a workshop for my sister! Just kidding, we are moving back to the states and yes my sister does want to do a workshop, but just not right away. I can't wait to get back to the states and hit all the Target $ spots and all my other favorite craft store.

I flew to Ohio (from DE) to do a workshop for friends. My parents live there, so I stayed with them. About half of my customers are from there. Now, if I can just get one to sign up
I have 3 10 clubs ,one is right here in town, my next one is 45 miles one way and my third is 104 miles one way. We acully planned our vacation around a workshop so I wouldn't have to drive the 4 1/2 hours by myself to do a workshop. Oh the joys of rural montana.

I drive from Mesa, AZ to Tucson, AZ (just over 1 1/2 hours) a lot actually. I do shows for my mom and her sorrority. I may travel to Vegas to do a one time show for my SIL, but I'm not sure about that one. Maybe I could get her to sign up so she could demo there! Probably not though - that is one BUSY woman! Traveling for me isn't much of a hassle though; more of an excuse to see my family! :0)

I'd probably go about an hour. My average sales in Utah are about $300-350 for a workshop, and what I would earn has to go for gas & my time, so further than that wouldn't really be worth it to me.
I know a demonstrator who flew from VA to Prague for a SU workshop, of course she then stayed and vaationed there. But the flight was tax deducted!!! She has also flown to PA and Texas!!!
5 1/2 hours for me. I did one for my SIL, and then had 4 bookings from it.... All parties were over $500.00!!! A few of the customers would spend atleast $100 at each of one. It was definatly worth it. I know I have a small customer base if ever my DH and I move to WI where they live. Then, I'd end up driving back to MN every so often for my customer here.

I am making an hour and a half trip next month. But its to my counsins and its more of a class than a workshop. She has some friends that want to do tiles and dominos. They are having it at her moms house and they say they have 10 or 15 that want to learn. So here I go.

Right around an hour is my max. I tend to fall asleep when i drive, so I don't like to be in a car for very long without my kids. their arguing keeps me awake and alert.
