Question How do you tie cord within organdy ribbon???

I'm trying desperately to tie silver cord with sheer white organdy ribbon for a wedding card and I can not figure it out!!! I've seen samples on here before, but I can't find any right now. Is there an easy trick to doing this???

Please help me!!!

There isn't really a trick. I just thread it through my holes (if that is how you are attaching to the cardstock) and then just lay both ribbons out flat & line the ends up just as if it were only one ribbon. I then tie it all at the same time - like it was just one ribbon. Does that make sense?

Same technique here...just have to go slow and keep an eye on the pieces in your hand to make sure they don't slide too much as you work with it.

Yep, that's the way to do it! And just keep practicing. I just got through making 40 cards for a swap with two layers of ribbon and by about the 30th one, I was really getting the hang of it!

Thanks--that's what I was doing and it wasn't working for me. The cord and the organdy were just sliding around. Guess I'll keep practicing, I love the look.

Thanks for helping.
