Question How do you glue rubber back onto block?

Has anyone had the rubber come off the wooden block? I bought mini messages on ebay. When they arrived 5 of the stamps had come off the blocks. The seller said they were fine when she posted them and suggested that heat had caused them to come unstuck. Has anyone had this happen? Any suggestions for what to use to remount them? The rubber is sticky to touch but won't stay on the wood.

You can use Crystal Effects to glue them back on ... or rubber cement ... I've used both and that works well. I've had a few "slide" off the wood mounts over the years ... esp. small stamps.

Red line tape works pretty well too. SU calls theirs Sticky Strip, I think.

This happened to one of my customers, and I got this response from Stampin'Up Demo Support:

Apply a thin coating of rubber cement to the rubber AND to the wood mount. Let them dry to the tacky phase, then bond them together.

Soon after, one of my tiny stamps (Everyday Flexible Phrases) became detatched and I tried this - worked like a charm and I don't worry about damage to my precious rubber!

sometimes I find that just using my tombo mono adhesive works, especially if there is still some stickiness left on the rubber.

Thank you for these replies. I don't have any of these products and I tried a hardware shop and an art shop for rubber cement without any luck. I do have Glossy Accents made by Ranger. Does anyone know if this is the same as Chrystal Effects?
