Same as above. Don't buy them. I've had a couple of free ones, but I don't find them easy to read. But then, I am a book lover, and I like to hold something in my hands and be able to take it to bed or read it in the bath.
But no, I don't think it would be strange to be published in one.
I've only seen Scor-pal's magazine online and love them, but it's free. It'd be great, not weird, to be published online. You still get lots of people seeing your work.
I've received a few free copies and they're o.k. but I personally wouldn't pay for one. I prefer having the paper copy of magazines in my hand.
As for being published in one it's really up to what you expect when you get published. I personally don't submit to e-zine bc I prefer to see my work in print and to receive some kind of compensation for it.
I personally don't think being published in an e-zine is as prestigious as a "real" publication (just my opinion). I think it's much more dificult to have projects published in paper pubs (e.g. more competition, harder selection process).
I think that more and more print magazines are going out of the publication business. It's just too expensive for publishers to put out the paper magazines any more. Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion, Cottage Living, Country Home..just a few of the magazines that have stopped publishing in recent months. Newspapers are in the same boat. I believe that ezines are the future...more and more people get their news online, it just makes sense to do the same with magazines. And it reduces household clutter and landfills to boot!
I like e-zines, when I remember to look for them! I appreciate being able to manipulate the image size so I can zoom in on tiny details that I can't normally see in print.

Diana Crick did an article about me in her first edition of the on line magazine...that was back when I only had sent 10,000 cards off to the troops...now I have sent over 30,000. It was cool to share the article with my family and friends. I would not think it weird or anything..sooooo coooool.
Blessings.
StampTV is planning on starting an online magazine called Stamping Lifestyle. I don't know when it'll be out, but it's worth checking out, especially because it's FREE. I don't think I'd pay to get a subscription to online mags.

It will also be available as a pdf. This way, for those who like to flop on couch with something in your hand, you can print it out, punch holes in it and collect them.
