If you mean it's just bare rubber, I just double side tape it to the clear block. I use a stamping pad under the paper. Works great for me! I don't waste the time or money on the cling stuff. I don't find it's needed if I use the stamping mat.
I use a glue stick to stick the stamp to an acrylic block and just lay my paper on a magazine and stamp. The glue washes right off the stamp and the block.
I am doing some work for a company that sells the bare rubber. I have tried numerous ways to mount. The cling mount is great but can get costly if you are purchasing many stamps. The best way I have found to use them is to use Aleene's tac it over and over. I cut out my stamps from the sheet of rubber and lay them onto a cookie sheet that I got at the dollar store. I spread the glue onto the backs of them with a small brush and let dry. For storage I use a binder with those old photo magnetic sheets in them....you probably remember them....you lift the top to put your photos under and then they stick back down. I cut the paper image and place it under the sheet where the photo would go then seal the sheet then the stamp can stick on top of the page over the paper image below. You will find the glue last a long time...I have only bought one bottle so far and still have some left but have mounted a big binder of stamps. Efficient and effective.
don't know if that helps??? just another option I guess.
You could just use Tombow Mono Multi glue. Let it dry until it's tacky. I've been doing this for years and it works great. I prefer it to Aleene's because it's easier to clean up.
I have two video's that I have done that may be of some help and the technique that worked best for my needs. My way does not use the EZ mount foam because I did not want the additional expense or step.
Thanks for the tips! I've been putting off ordering unmounted rubber stamps because I wasn't sure how to mount them. Now, off to order a few and start experimenting!
