Here on Splitcoast, Random Acts of Kindness is not completely random. There is a a short process that stops spammers from downloading our names.
* RAK is fun. You can download a list of hundreds of Splitcoast members, their birthdays and their addresses. You can send cards randomly to anyone on the list. There are also more organized swaps and wishes. After you sign up, you might get a birthday card or two from other members.
* Sign up is easy. Click Quick Links (to the right above this thread). In the little menu click any of the Edit buttons. On the left of the next page click Group Memberships.
Now select the little button beside the RAK group. Click Join Group. A box pops up that asks for a "reason to join group." Type your answer. Click Send Request.
Within a couple of weeks, the moderators of RAK will grant your membership (unless of course you say that you want to join so that you can harass Garnet and fill her email with all sorts of garbage. If so I'll tell Gina not to allow you to join).
