Default Help with sympathy card

I need to do sympathy cards and they are not something I am good at. Would my new favorite, Baroque Motifs and the word cherish be appropriate? Also what colors would be most suitable? Thanks~

I made a very classy wedding card with Baroque Motifs that would translate well into a Sympathy card. I used B&W cardstock and silver embossing powder. I think your idea sounds lovely.

i agree...

it is a good set for a sympathy card.

maybe colors of the season or colors the person likes if you know.

i find sympathy cards bitter sweet. bitter for a loved ones need/loss and sweet in sharing my passion. created with love.

but know it will be appreciated.

I think your idea sounds good too. I tend to use earthy colors for sympathy cards, but that's my preference. If you know the recipient, there's no reason not to include his/her favorite colors.

I sometimes use an iris embossed with gold EP. I chalk in the iris purple, leave green, and my stamp (SU I believe) has a butterfly on it as well. that I usually chalk in yellow, No words on the front......inside says. "With Sympathy."

I was thinking of using Baroque motifs for a sympathy card. I usually use flowers - Simply Spring, Art of Life, one of the Sassy Stems, the flower in Close to Nature, come to mind. I just did several using a navy mat, lighter blue Cuttlebug swirls, then the image matted on navy, with a small navy bow.
This one would work also, with a different sentiment:

I think the Baroque Motifs and Cherish would be great for a sympathy card!
