When I wasn't paying close enough attention, my three year old pushed some thinlets and hardware into my cuttlebug. Is there a way to take it apart and actually get it back together? I see screws, but I'm afraid to dismantle it. Not that it matters -- it doesn't work. (Tried shaking them out; no luck.)
My hubby took mine apart and fixed it. He said it is very well made. It wasn't working, so I had nothing to lose. He took the screws out, got it apart, then was able to put it back together. Since it is not working, you have nothing to lose, unless it is under warranty.
This is just me, but I'd take the view that I can't make it any more broken, only have a chance of fixing it. I'd take it apart and see if its repairable. Agree with lovinpaper though- is it still under warranty? If so, don't take it apart! lol.
Do it!! Do it!! Do it!! lol Sorry, I couldn't resist.
I agree with everyone else, you don't have anything to lose. My son in law will take apart anything and everything for me to fix it. 98% of the time he works it for me.
