I have not yet ordered this card stock and I am making my Christmas cards. I was wondering....if I layer over the shimmery white with vellum paper, will I notice a difference or should I stick with just white? I've read that everyone loves this paper but since it is so pricy, I don't want to waste it if no one will be able to tell. By the way, the white will be totally covered with the vellum.
The shimmery white is a wonderful cardstock on its own and you wouldn't want to lose the effect by covering with vellum. Shimmery envelopes would be perfect for mailing your cards, however!
If you are interested, I got mine from paper zone, and got 50 sheets of it to make wedding announcements with, same as SU shimmer white. Here is the link. I see it is on sale now..better price then I paid, and wow, look at the price of SU shimmer per sheet, vs. this! I have compared both, they are one in the same.
