Default Help with the Just Journaling stamp and templates?

Hi-
A customer called with several questions last night, and other than the picture in the catalog, I've never seen one of these. I'm hoping you guys can help me with some info.

Her basic concern is using the stamp with the template. She's woried that if the templates are durable enough to use several times, theyare probably to thick to stamp over. But, if they are thin enough to stamp through, they won't last very long.

Does anyone have one of these, and know what the templates are made of?

Thankyou!
-Carrie

I have heard discussion about this before and I have the journaling fun set and figured if I got that I can just make a template out of CS whenever I wanted to use it in a shape. I seem to remeber that others thought the template too thick to really use well....anyone with experience with it fill in the blanks for us! Thanks

I have both Just Journaling I and Just Journaling II. The templates are made out of a very thick plastic. It is had to stamp through them but it can be done. You can stand up and put all of your weight into the stamp when you are stamping through or you could stand on the stamp. You just have to put a lot of pressure down when stamping through the templates. I use the stamp and rarely use the templates that come with it.

HTH.

Default JUST JOURNALING STAMP SET HELP

I agree that they are had to stamp through. I have to just about stand on them to get an image. I made a masks with the shape of the holes that can with it. I use these instead. Works great. Hope this helps.

I don't have any problems with them. I love them! Tell her to get them, she'll like them.

I have them and use them on almost every scrapbook page! I love them and have no problem with them either.

I find that they work very, very well, if I put something softer underneath the cardstock when I'm stampin through the template.... a magazine or a mousepad for example.
