receive a single stamp set from Stamping Up for free, which would you choose?
The stamp set has to be current, not retired.
I finally have enough "frequent buyer points" for a free set, but I'm torn on which one to get. It would be fun to see what everyone else would do, and maybe it will help me decide.

Thanks!
NEVER heard of "frequent buyer points" for Stampin up. How do you get them. Is it from the company or a "special" from YOUR demo????
Would like to know.
Thanks

Boy that's a hard one! If you have purchased enough to have frequent buyer status you may have what is suggested. If you like watercolor, I'd suggest Watercolor Wings. I've seen so many pretty projects using it. For sentiments Teeny Tiny Wishes is helpful and I love Tin of Cards too. The new mini has many new sets that can be bundled too. I love a good bundle!

This is an individual demo's "reward" program. I couldn't find anyone near me with a stamp club (sharing hostess rewards with other club members), so I looked for a demo with a stamp club who had great overall rewards. You do not, however, need to be in the stamp club to earn the "frequent buyer points."
If you do a google search for "frequent buyer" and Stampin Up, you'll find a bunch of demos who offer these rewards.
My demo has a remote hostess club program. I'm not in the club any more, but it was great getting sample cards and seeing "touchable" versions of new products.
I do have teeny tiny wishes -- it was my first "frequent buyer" rewards choice. Good call!
As a result, I am thinking about getting the "And Many More" stamp set. As with most Stampin Up sets, some of the stamps in the set I really like and some just don't fit with my style.
I am definitely considering Watercolor Wings -- very pretty set and a lot of my card recipients like butterflies.
I also like Tin of Cards, but I go back and forth on how I feel about the script greetings. At first I loved them, but then I wasn't sure if maybe they were a little too bold.
I really like using photopolymer, so I am mostly leaning toward those sets. In addition to Watercolor Wings and Tin of Cards, I'm considering the Layered Letters Alphabet, Perpetual Birthday Calendar and B.Y.O.P.
There are a few clear-mount stamp sets that I like, and they're not available in photopolymer: Happy Happenings and And Many More.
There are a lot of beautiful image-based stamp sets that fill gaps in my collection -- By the Tide, Traveller & Vintage Leaves to name a few -- but I think I need greetings a bit more.
I really, really, really don't need any more Christmas stamp sets, but I have to admit that I really like the new Flurry of Wishes -- I think that the images could be used as abstract patterns year round -- and the new Berry Merry set.
If I could get five or six free sets, this would be so much easier! I left my full-time job last year to volunteer for a nonprofit, so this will be the only SU set I get for a while.
I'm doing a lot of independent study right now and plan to go to school for a few months in the winter. When I am back at a full-time job and get that first paycheck... well, let's just say that a few stamp companies may see an influx of cash, lol.
Are you "allowed" to get something from the holiday catty? If so, Happy Scenes looks very interesting. I am trying to tell myself I don't need it, but I want it, I want it, lol.
I love leaves, so for me I'd pick a leaf set -- the new one in the mini is awesome! BUT I will say that the set I use the most often is Gorgeous Grunge -- you can make backgrounds with that set for any style of card!
Right now, the only two wish-I-had current SU sets are Open Sea and Traveler.
I love the old ships and trains and suitcases and the images would be good for the men in my life.
I am in the same boat. It is time to pick a free set from my long distance demo (Angie from Chic n Scratch) so much to choose from. I see some other demos are now offering rewards for more than stamp sets. There are times when I could use a product like paper or a thinlet instead of a stamp set.
When I have free stuff coming I try to pick something I can use on a regular basis. I like seasonal and themed stamps but they don't get quite as much use as I'd like. I try to pick things with "generic" images or multiple sentiments so I can mix and match. Some of my favorites include: Teeny Tiny Wishes, Six-Sided Sampler, Crazy about You and Flower Shop.
