Hi, I just purchased my first digital images and am wondering what everyone uses for paper to print them on? I have an HP 8600 all in one and have tried to print a few on my white cardstock but the printer won't recognize this paper and I am getting a little frustrated.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Dana
I have an HP printer and I use Georgia pacific 110# from Walmart. I don't change anything in my printer settings. I just have only one sheet in the tray at a time. Works fine for me.
I have a Canon Pixma 2200 series printer, and it prints whatever I feed. I use Neenah, American Crafts and Bazzill cardstock up to 110lb and watercolor paper up to 140lb without any problems. Does your printer recognize the paper and give you an error message, or does it just not print? Once in awhile when printing on watercolor 120lb I have had to keep the paper snug to the feeder, but it always goes.
I use GinaK light weight card stock and Walmart's Georgia Pacific 110 paper. My printer feed from the bottom and I have no problems with these card stock.

I have had different problems with different printers. Home based business so have had a few printers over the years. Some are a real pain and wont take thicker card stock. If your not sure what your printer will take go on line and do a search for your printer. Quite a few will let you do feed manually at top but again I have had card stock that was just too thick and jammed every time.
You can also look for settings in the printer for 'specialty paper'. Hope this helps
