oh my word! One time my nephew and neice (at ages 3 1/2 and 1 1/2) found a bunch of dot stickers, like what you would use to put prices on things at a garage sale, and spent part of an afternoon sticking those all over each other. My sister has the CUTEST picture of them sitting on a chair, each with their faces and pj's dotted all over with colored stickers. But stickers would be a breeze to clean up compared to ink and markers!!!
DH and I don't have kids yet and I'm a little scared of what they will be like when we do have them... DH was VERY mischievous when he was little and I'm afraid that it will get passed on to our children! Thanks for sharing the photos and giving me a chuckle!
Holy cow I just saw this for the first time. I love it. What a stinker! She is so cute though. The pic would have been complete were she wearing a pair of panties on her head.

My daughter took a sharpie marker to her face, drew herself new eyebrows, lashes and the best part, a nice big moustache. My mom was horrified, I just laughed. We had to go shopping with her like that and it was funny, but not to my mom. Anyway, it came of with time, a couple days. Aren't kids great for laughs!

I have had more then one memerable moment with my DD and my stamp supplies. She covered herself with colorbox black and a whole bottle of pearl ex. Then the next time she dumped PX, embossing powder, and flocking. Any time she finds a stamp pad she puts her hands in it and on whatever project she can find to ruin. I haven't had any eaten reinkers. Knock on wood.
Thanks for sharing and giving us a good laugh!! I love hearing of other little angels getting into stamping things!! (I don't know how many times I've played 200 eyelet pickup!!) So, my only request is that you need to tell us how things "come out" if you know what I mean  That's always the fun part!! I'm laughing just thinking about it!!

The secret to getting any color (other than black or brown) classic ink off your children is a BATH. (Yes, the dreaded 4 letter word.) Wipe offending areas with a baby wipe (or stand them in the tub and shower it off first, for messes with PE, etc) and then let 'em soak. I cover my children's hands and feet with ink to stamp them for their scrapbooks every year on their birthdays, my husband freaks out (every time...like we've never done it before!) and after a good 15-20 minutes, they're pruny and their little toes are no longer green. Really, it works.
Black, though...I've gone a week with a big purply-black mark on my arm from setting it down on a black pad. Me, a klutz? Never. ;)
My daughter ate a whole bottle of Mellow Moss.....let's just say that it's the same color coming out as it was coming in......
Raelene, ROTFL!
My son recently discovered the joys of Real Red. He rubbed the stamp pad on the palms of his hands and bottoms of feet. That came out after a bath or two. However, his little blond head was "real red" for weeks. It didn't completely go away until he got a hair cut.
Oh my those pictures are all so funny - those little monkeys all look like they are having a blast.
Here's my stinker #1 a long time ago when he proudly "colored mine face" after decorating the TV screen.
I also remember finding stinker#2 happily squishing the red colorbox pigment ink out of the spongy pad she had ripped from it's base.
Yesterday though, I was the one with turqoise hands. We were tie-dying some shirts and my cheapo gloves got a hole in them. I sure learned a lesson that you get what you pay for. Luckily I had purchased some cream called ReDuRan from Dharma Trading co when I bought the dying stuff. You rub in on your hands (kind of like a greasy exfoliant) then wash them. Almost all of that dye came right off. Even the green splotch that had splashed up onto my cheek! The stuff is made specifically to get dye off your skin so it would probably work on SU inks too.
- OK I just rubbed my hand in classic black to test it out and the ReDuRan got it all off. I had to apply it twice and scrub a bit but there is NO black left. It smells pretty good too. Yay! no more blue fingers after a workshop for me It was about $6 and can be found here: http://www.dharmatrading.com/html/eng/1980-AA.shtml
A few weeks ago I stamped DS's hands in Brilliant Blue for a framed print thing someone gave me. I didn't realize how hard it would be to get it off!
What worked for me was a gentle nail brush.
I took the brush (DS was in the tub) scrubbed it into the Dove soap and scrubbed his hands. I even had him do it himself for fun. Most of it came off and it was gentle enough not to eat his tender skin.

Quite a few years ago BS (before stamping) when my DD was in kindergarten, she and a friend sprayed blue glossy paint all over themselves. I went on and on telling them how difficult it would be to get it off. The little friend went home and came back soon all clean. She said the Ivory soap took it right off! It sure did. Who woulda thunk it?
I just found this post. Too Funny. My DS went through a stage where Poison Control knew me by name. The scariest is when he ate little Christmas Lights. The guys at the ER (where I used to work) were giving him a hard time wondering which color tasted the best, and telling him he they were gonna plug him up to a socket. My DD is bad to write on herself with sharpies. But her favorite thing to do is write on everyone else. If she catches someone asleep they are fair game. She also likes to play hair dresser. My mother only thought she was pretending to cut her hair. My mom definately needed Professional hair care after that.
Oh the pics were great. What great scrapbook material.

Kids do the Darnest Things
This just makes me laugh. A few weeks ago my 3 year old came into wake me up and said, "Mommy am I grounded?" She said she painted her leg with paint. After about 15 minutes and some research she painted her hands, legs, my carpet and chair with dark red fingernail polish. It is hard to be mad and laugh at the same time.

Oh, Jenna.....you posted my avatar of my ds - he's only 8 mos and not yet walking. I just learned tonight after reading your post that I will have to keep an eye on him when he is! I think the picture is adorable nonetheless - she is sooooo cute!
