Here is a link to a post on Mel Stampz that has a list of box templates. Just scroll down for several useful links.

And here is a tutorial I did for a Criss Cross Notecard Box.

Good luck!

You're fabulous!! Thanks!! I love your cris cross one!! It's one of my favorite cards to make too...I can't wait to try it!! Do you happen to have any that are "Base and Lid" templates?? Somewhat like the nugget boxes I suppose...when sending cards, I would like to have a lid...but for a non-USPS one, I'm ALL OVER the one in your tutorial!! Thanks!!!!!!!!!

LyndsaySwim.......If you go to the Resources section of this website, do a search for boxes. You will come up with several shapes, sizes and styles. You can adapt most of those to your particular liking. There are lots of styles of little tote bags that can hold cards/envelopes also. The only problem may be that to hold that many cards/envelopes, you make need to find larger than 12x12 cardstock.

I make all my own boxes/totes and find it fun to adapt the sizes to what I need.

WOW I LOVE the criss cross box.

What types of adhesive do you all use for your boxes??

Does that 1/4 inch red double sided sticky tape work??

Thank you all for sharing.

I made an acetate box with cards for a stamp camp swap. Here are the details on my blog : http://www.staceystamps.com/stacey_s...-card-box.html

A picture of it is also in my gallery. It will hold 6 cards (maybe more depending on how many embellishments you use.)

I know you are looking for boxes but just wanted to tell you about an alternate method for gifts of cards. If I don't box mine, I wrap them in a nice vellum (I love to use a white on white stiped vellum and have also used snowflake vellum at the holidays) and then tie a beautiful ribbon(s) around it and embellish the ribbons with things. Can also attach a tag too. I fold and crease the vellum around the card and overlap the flap about 2/3 down in the front. You can also use a seal to close them too. This is fast and easy and looks really nice and elegant if wanted. Just a suggestion if you ever get stuck and need something in a hurry that looks really nice.

Thanks! I don't have one with a lid just now, although I have been working on a template for a Criss Cross box with a fold over lid, just haven't perfected it yet.

Here is a link to a cute little purse box with a flap.

Thank you! I usually use Terrifically Tacky for projects like this. It seems to hold up better.
