Question Hawaiian Stamps?

Not sure if this is the best place to post this, but here goes! I am in search of some Hawaiian stamps and have a friend going to Hawaii next Saturday, but have no idea where to send her to look for the elusive stamps. She'll be going to 5 islands while there. I know that some of you are lucky enough to live in that gorgeous place...can you help a girl out with the names and locations of some great local stamping stores!?!
TIA ~ Angi

Go to any Walmart and look in the craft section of the store. They have a local manufacturer (can't remember the name) that sells them. They are in cello bags.

Ben Franklin in Maui and there is also a paper craft store on Maui as well. There is also a store called islandpaperie. They are both on the airport side of the Island.
There are two or three stores on Ohau as well.

Hope that helps!

Wal-mart carries a whole bunch but the quality isn't the best. There is a store called Stamps an Memories that has a great selection (if you like Hawaiian things) and while it is a little more expensive then the $3 ones you will find at wal-mart they are good quality. PM me if you want more info. There is also a scrapbook store that carries nothing but Hawaiian papers/dicuts you can't escape the Hawaiian theme down here. I am living here another 11 months 8 days if you would like me to grab you anything let me know I am happy to ship it to you. Oh and I am on Oahu!

I have been to Island Paperie - http://www.islandpaperie.com/ - on Maui and it is a wonderful little shop. Their website will give your friend an idea of what they have and how to find them. There aren't too many stamps, but the papers are fantastic. They have a lot of the Dreamweaver embossing stencils that are Hawaiin themed.

Rubber Stamp Plantation - http://rsp.addr.com/index.htm - is an online store with lots of Hawaiian themed stamps, but I don't know if they have a store. You could e-mail them and ask if they have a retail location. They are in Honolulu.

There is a small stamp store in Hilo - it was closed last week for a few days so I didn't get in it -- and there is a scrapbook store in Kona that has a few stamps - and Ben Franklin and Walmart - that's pretty much it for the Big Island.
There is a cute store named "Cute Stuff" in Honolulu. I'm pretty sure that is the name --

Default Vivid Jungle For tropical designs

These are from Guam instead of Hawaii but this is a new site for Vivid Jungle.

I used the stamps when I lived on Guam and they are quite good quality. If you ever have a problem with one, replacements are cheerfully given.

I'm another one that found nice ones at Walmart on The Big Island of Hawaii and Maui. Deep etched rubber, very nice quality.

I sure wish I had asked this question before I went to Hawaii in October. I just love Hawaii. For Christmas my daughter gave me a large basket with an Hawaiian theme album and lots of Hawaiian paper and stickers so I can make my vacation album. Guess I'll have to try to go again so I can visit these shops. (Think my husband will buy this excuse!!!!!)

I found these stamps when I was at a stamp convention last year. I think they are really cute...kinda on the cutesy-kiddo side...but so much fun! http://www.tajclubhouse.com/#store

I've never been to their store in Hawaii, but looks like they have one!

BTW the more "island" style stamps were in the larger categories on their site

Rubber Stamp Plantation has a lot or great Hawaiian-themed stamps. They are located in downtown Honolulu and are online. When you get into town, give them a call to get their hours and location. Really nice and helpful people. Another local company that has some Hawaii-themed stamps, some cutesy and a lot of ethnic stamps for the is Mari and Me. They do not have a retail location but are online but you can order and make arrangment to pick up from them. One other company that is local and has some fun stuff is Cane Haul Road - very cutesy stuff, not really Hawaiian-themed but they have more "local" type stuff.
