And that's my Weimaraner in my avatar. We had her before we had our daughter, and she's always going to have a special place in our hearts. She's almost 12, but thinks she's a puppy!
I'd love to know if it took everyone else ages to photo their fur-baby - I think the one I have of 'Ruby' as my avatar must have been about the 20th I took of her with her lovely new handbag!
Some of the pics on here are just tooooo good!
WE just got a puppy! 2 weeks ago. Our first ever, it just kinda happened. He is a pure bred Jack Russell. The kids love him, I am exhausted and clueless on what we are doing. So far dh and I are on the same page as far as training is going right now.
Keep him well entertained with a variety of toys!! JR's will find ways to entertain themselves if you don't provide enough stimulus (and most of those ways include destroying something).
We adopted Skipper (my avatar) from our local shelter and although we're not sure he is 100% JR, we know he's definitely got a lot in him. The stories I have to tell about his first year with us.... let's just say he's too smart/strong willed for his own good and it nearly killed him (which would have devastated us cause we love him to pieces).

Yep, I took a zillion of Gracie before I chose this one. I still think there's room for improvement, though. I'm trying to capture the cuteness of the little face with the giant ears that don't seem to fit!
BTW, Miss Ruby looks fab-u-lous with that new purse!

My friend had a Weimaraner when we were kids--one of the sweetest, most gentle dogs I've ever known.

I wish I had a white dog like some of you, my poor Lola (all poodle) just looks like a black lump! She also has very dark eyes so getting a good photo of her is very hard, but I do have a good photo of her the day I got her! However she is so sweet - my last three babies were Tibetian Terriers and they tend to be a bit self centered! My last one made it to 15, but was in bad health the last 14 years lol!
My sister has - a husband, a 14 year old son (who wants to be a veterinarian), a 90 year old father-in-law (who lives whith them) two mini long hair dachshunds & 2 guinea pigs (love those pigs)! I don't know how she takes care of them all!
PS I just got MFT's Gone to the Dogs set yesterday! It is such a cute set!

My avatar is my Tessa. She was "special ordered". I told her mom what I wanted and I got exactly what I wanted. She is all that and a bag of chips! Pom's are so smart and funny. The only timeI can't control her barking is when DH comes home from work!
littlegto, your avatar picture is so stinkin' cute! I've never seen a pet picture
done that way. How sweet!

My avatar is our sweet baby, Ice. She is a Siberian Husky and prefers my stamp room over any other room in the house. Love her to pieces and she wouldn't have it any other way!
So many cute furry babies on this site....love it!!
Here's some pics of my little darlings.
There's Chiclet, Freebie and Rocky, and Lily after she got her meds. I can't find any pictures of Scully on my puter though :(
We're ready to get another fur baby, but our house is up for sale and until our new one is built, we will need to rent. We absolutely love Great Danes. Totiana was black with a white spot on her chest. She was my baby even though she was over 70 lbs! She's been gone for a long time, but we still miss her. Until now, we just weren't ready to replace her.
My son is a K9 MP (my avatar). He works with dogs all day long and has four dogs and a cat at home! He hopes to train dogs when he gets out of the military.

Here is my fur baby- Bubba! He is my avatar, and I just created this card last week using one of his baby pictures! He is currently under my chair snorting and snuffing away with his little mushed up face! I cannot imagine how I lived without my little ball of fur/energy! I enjoy looking at other stamper's fur babies, and will sometimes leave a little note in my comment about them. It's been fun talking with other fur baby lovers, really lets you know how important they are to our lives. Nice forum- TFS!

Oh my goodness, the first quote, and then the princess bed are killing me! I love it! People think I am a goofball because I like to put little clothing items on Bubba- only people who truly spoil their pups/kitties like this get it- thanks for letting me know there are other animal spoilers out there ( LOL)

Ruby is my sweet golden retriever who just adores her mommy! The feeling is mutual, believe me! My avatar photo is of her when she was only 10 weeks old. Don't you just want to squeeze her?! I think it's really true what they say, "no one loves you like your dog."

We got our first PUPPY last year...she's 1 year, 1 month now. We've always adopted older dogs from the pound and well, I just wanted a puppy...a brand new puppy so I researched on what sort would be a good fit for our family of 1 anti-social Emo cat named Heidi and one super-social fat boy cat named Teddy and 1 lumpy "Speedbump" of a hound dog named Buddy.
So we decided on a Westie puppy...a little girl. She's been SO MUCH FUN! She continues to make me laugh at her every day...what a clown! She totally runs the house now. Poor Buddy can't take a nap without his Westie blanket laying on top of him. hehe!
I attached a picture of us taken a few months ago when she was still puppy-ish.

In addition to my avatar and mascot, a half Doxie, named Ofi (Choctaw for Little Dog... she's from Oklahoma), I also have a kitty named Misty. Ofi loves to sit on my feet while I stamp. I doubt if all our creations would be half as cute without our fur babies cheering us on!!!

There is nothing like a Westie ... although I may be just a "bit" bigoted! We are getting a puppy this fall to keep out almost 5 yr old Westie Princess company - I can't wait!
