Talking Has DH ever used your stamps???

Have any of your husbands played around with your stamps? What have they done?

My wacky, adorable husband has played with mine. I was doing thank you cards with a hula girl on the front and left my stuff out to go back to later. I'm in the recliner watching tv when he comes up to me and asks "Wanna see my hula girl dance?" and proceeds to pull up his shirt and wiggle his belly. I busted a gut!! He saw my stamps and decided to play. He stamped the hula girl all over his belly! Even funnier, he used my Stazon black ink!! Took 2 weeks for it to come off.

Oh, that man makes me laugh!!

He has even completed a scrapbook!

Yes, he did in fact. He made one birthday card, did a great job. Then, well you will have to visualize...he stamped Just a little note to let you know...masted the rest and hand wrote...you have...then he stamped two crabs from fishy friends underneath. I roared, it was sooo funny! I must find that and post it one day.

That is hilarious!!!! It sounds like he has a great sense of humor

My Dh stamps...a cardstcok usually ;) He is still learning. I just posted a card he made for his mom in my gallery. Granted he case'd most of it by looking at cards I had posted on the wall...but he stamped it and came up with the idea himself. I was proud of him

Yep, DH has made me several Valentines and Birthday cards. He also made a "What I love about my wife" list. That he stamped around the edges.

It's good for me to think about these things tonight because I am super mad at him right now!

Love the Hula!!!! LMAO!!!! My DH loves to play with the punches. He'll use whatever is around, magazines, paper of any sort. Needless to say I've had to keep them under lock and key and not leave them on the table. He cracks me up!!!

That sounds like something mine would do!! I bet they'd be great friends!!

The phone just rang a minute ago, and hubby says "its for you" so I ask him to leave his office to bring the phone to me in mine just because he loves me. So, I answer the phone and it's HIM!!! calling from his cell phone! What a hoot. I think he wants to spend some time with his wife... Gotta go, but I'll be back soon, wink, wink!!

Holy schmolie! That's awesome!

My DH will stamp a card if he needs to give one to me (because I'd kill him if he went out and paid money for a card when I have tons of supplies....) He's always so proud of his creations. They are pretty decent, if I do say so myself! Then, he always tries to quiz me on what SU colors he used. Duh, like I wouldn't be able to figure it out......;)

My husband stamped a card for me once - or at least, part of it. He always hires someone local to make them if they're for me - our 13 year old daughter! She does an excellent job. I always ask her opinion when I'm stuck on a design (I never ask my husband for his opinion! LOL).

My DH would never play with my stamps. He would DIE if he knew every card I make cost him only slightly less than $100 or $70 or whatever my therapy cost is. However since he doesn't know, he shows a great appreciation for my cards. He thinks it is so cool that I can just go in and make a card instead of having to run to Hallmark. I have only been doing this less than a year so HOPEfully the cost will keep going down!! (Hopefully???)

My DH made me one Mother's day card a few years ago. He did use my craft and rubber scissors to trim our braided ficus tree, though. I about killed him when he did it, and still give him a hard time about it now!

And that is so cool with all the husbands who've made cards and sbooks and stuff! stampmouse, did your DH use the kanji set by any chance?

Default Hubby Scrapbooked...

I'll probably be killed for sharing this...

For a long time I was a bigger scrapper than stamper. For some reason, I don't mix the two. But that's another story.

Anyway, not only did hubby use all my supplies--he submitted his scrapbook pages into the State & County Fairs and won many ribbons. The best part... he did an Olympics page and got an amature "BEST IN SHOW" over ALL the other women. Including me. He's pretty amazing. (that's ok, I kicked butt the year before and after). I was so excited for him. His ribbon hangs on my craft room wall.

He has a drafting degree and loves to draw. He had some ideas and played with them. I was impressed that he was willing to "go public". He's so nice, he says he had a good teacher. Hmmm...should I keep him?

My husband loves to emboss! One day I showed him how, and then at Christmas and on Valentines day I got cards that were JUST embossed stuff. He has no use for anything else, just that "power tool" of stamping!!

I should teach him eyelets - he'd like the hammer!!

Did CPS have to come out?;)

My husband makes me birthday and anniversary cards, and he's gotten quite good. The colors almost coordinate. He also cuts paper for me when I have to make a bajillion cards, but he does grumble the whole time, like I do when I have to hold tools or something.

My husband's brother also made my husband a card with some curse words in it, because I got my sister-in-law hooked on stampin'!!:p

Default significant others' stamping

For Christmas, my partner ordered some scrappin' stuff for me from my friend who sells CM. It came wrapped in plain paper. Next thing I knew it was stamped ALL over. I was highly amused!

Red face

My husband loves arts and crafts! He's an elementary school teacher so it is right up his alley. He actually went to Regionals with me and stamped and had a great time.

I discourage his stamping with my stuff because he is so stinkin' artistic. I am afraid he would steal my thunder! How mean, I know. But he is good at EVERYTHING. It gets tiring.

My husband has stamped once. He used the truck from Loads of Love to make a Valentines card.

He put a pretty red truck with the girl on a road, and had a "monster truck" sort of collosion with a nice blue truck with the boy stamp inside it. Now if you can think of the caption he used you can probably imagine the card better. Think of a dirty word that rhymes with truck and replace it in the sentence to see he wrote above the image "Let's Get Truckin'"

What a romantic one I have

(However, he colors better than I do. I need to get some staz on and start water coloring because my marker skills are lacking)

Yep, my DH has made me a few cards. He's not very artistic, but he gets bonus points from me for trying! They are still very special.

He also helps my daughter (now 7) stamp cards for mommy.

Gotta love him!

My BF went to a workshop with me once before I became a demo. He sat at the table with all the ladies and made a card and a 6x6 page. He only participated because we used Born to Ride.. and we ride Harleys.. so he was all into it! Picture that - a macho Harley riding dude - sitting at a table stamping! It was a hoot! I told him I wish I'd had a camera - what great blackmail pictures they would have been. BUT a couple of the other gals there are in our Harley club - so I have proof that he was there. His friends will walk up to him and say, "Charlie, I heard you know WAY TOO MUCH about stamping." LOL

No, but every once in awhile my heat gun goes missing.... Grrrrr!

I started with a heat gun from a local store. When I upgraded to the SU version I gave him the old one and told him if he touched my new one he would be sorry! hee hee.

My DH made me a Valentine's Day card and when he feels like joining me when I'm stamping works on making tags for Christmas gifts. I never get around to making them near Christmas time and he likes working on them.

My hubby made me a card for my bday one time. I was like where did you get that punch from. He preceeded to show me in one of my many drawers. I didn't even know I had it. It was very sweet!

He saw my stamps and decided to play. He stamped the hula girl all over his belly! Even funnier, he used my Stazon black ink!! Took 2 weeks for it to come off.

Oh, that man makes me laugh!!
Did you get pictures of that??

Yes, my DH has made several birthday/anniversary/valentine's cards for me. He like to use the punches too -- mostly the hearts.

The first card he made me was for our anniversary. It was a rhebus. It was SO cool!

Now each card is getting a little bit better (if I could only get him to use mono instead of 2-way glue). And he IS fairly good with the colors.

I have a great hubby! He definitely is rewarded for his efforts....

I started with a heat gun from a local store. When I upgraded to the SU version I gave him the old one and told him if he touched my new one he would be sorry! hee hee.

Mine, too! DH uses it to get the fire in the woodburning stove going.

Oh...My...Gawd! I'm gasping for air over here! I am laughing so hard that I am, no lie, CRYING! I can picture this perfectly. Maybe I'll make a similar card for my DH when he comes home after 13 months in 34 days!

He did stamp, just once. It was terrible, but I've saved it anyway. He does, however, crimp every damn thing he can put through the crimper. Money, junk mail, napkins, the kids' art-everything. Hysterical, those funny, big boys!
