Gratitude Journal presented by Shelli during session 1...
Did anyone take a picture of the gratitude journal (on board journal decorated with designer paper) shown by Shelli at Session 1? Shelli shared that it was a gift to her from a demonstrator. If anyone has a picture of this book, please share.
I gave that Journal to Shelli on the Panama cruise. I was unable to be at Convention due to a family obligation so I didn't know that Shelli had shown my journal. How amazing and it gives me goosebumps! If you'd like to see more, I have some photos on my blog and on my website:
well, i just tried to post links to my blog but it won't let me since this is my first post to SCS! It says I need to post 3 things before I can submit a link!
Guess I'll post 3 things and then post the links!
stay tuned...
One stamp I did use that is discontinued is the Jouraling line stamp... if you still have that around, it makes entries in your journal really quick and easy.
SCS still won't let me post links.. so I've asked a fellow SCS member to post them for me here.. hopefully they'll go through for you all to view the pages of the journals.
thanks!
Patty
so.. here is one way you can see some of them:
click on my luv2stampathome link in the upper left of this reply, and my blog link is in my profile, click on that and then click on FAITH AND GRACE in the CATEGORY area in the left column of my blog and scroll down.. gee.. how's that for a round about way to get to a link!?
Patty, your journal is amazing. My ladies would love to do something like this. I also really like your A to Z scripture scrapbook. Just wondering how you came up with your bible verses? I have a few favorites but not one for every letter in the alphabet. They are both great. Thanks for sharing the ideas.
Thank you , thank you, thank you, Patty and Mary. Extra thanks to Patty for sharing such a wonderful gift. Shelli showed the journal and she was pleased and proud to have her very own gratitude journal. I too was moved to create one of my own and to hold a class on making them. I may alter the idea to create Christmas Wishes journals... especially useful for moms to reflect during the holiday season.
thanks to everyone for your encouragement and to Sandi and Mary for posting the links.
I'm dashing off to teach a class tonight (samples on blog tomorrow!), but will be happy to answer questions or comments later tonight or tomorrow.
thanks!

Patty, thank you so much for sharing your journal. What a fabulous gift you gave Shelli! This is truly inspiring - I've been kicking around the idea of making prayer journals for the women's Bible study group at our church and your pictures have definitely sparked some ideas of what I'd like to include in the journals.
Thanks again!

I did this journal as a class recently...only 3 signed up but they loved it. And...I had so many doubts while creating the journal, I don't know why, but when I finished it, I LOVED it! And everyone was blown away by it b/c they didn't even know what to expect. It was MORE than what they imagined, I guess.
I'm making one right now as a gift. They are great gifts!!! One guest gave hers to her husband for Father's day and used the Au Chocolat paper for it, it was stunning! Well, he loved it!
I was excited when I saw Shelli put it up there at Convention! I wasn't exactly sure WHERE it originated as I got it from another stamp group and the UL must have seen it on the cruise or at Leadership? Not sure, but it did get out there! Shelli is not keeping that amazing journal a secret!! (Smart cookie)
Thanks so much for sharing and for creating, Patty!!! Get a gallery going!!
