Goo Gone vs UNDU

Hello smart SCS'ers.....

I am looking at unmounting all of my SU stamps. I started the the TIOAO on the back of the foam but not liking that very much. I prefer bare rubber on an acrylic block that has Tack n' peel. However to get to the bare rubber there is sticky residue left from pulling off the grey foam. Am I better to use Goo Gone ( package says not to use on rubber) or UNDU?? Or something else that I am not aware of?

Any thoughts would be loved!!!

I used neither. I rolled it off with my thumbs. Of course I almost had blisters but it worked.

LOL!! Never considered good old fashioned elbow grease..... I have that right here, no shopping needed :mrgreen:

I don't know the technical answer to what the difference is between the products. But I can tell you I tried to use the Goo Gone (not realizing that there is a difference) anyway, it seemed to make the rubber sort of gooey. I washed them off and let them dry, they seemed fine then. I stopped using it. I did not try the other one.

I just worked long and hard to pick/ rub the stuff off of the stamps. I still have some more to do, it's a very long process.
