Going to Michael's--any deals or sales?

I live 120 miles from the nearest Michael's (no HL, or Archiver's either). This will probably be my only visit there for about 6-8 months. Does anyone know of any great sales, deals, or must-sees? I don't get coupons for Michaels, so I'm looking for deals that don't require a coupon.

I was just there this afternoon. The Martha stuff is 30% off. Stamps are 40% off but my store only had the same old same old. Others mentioned that their Michael's had some new good ones. Go to the web site and see if you can get the 40% off coupon for this week.

Unfortunately, Michaels does not put their coupon on their website for all to print out. They do show their sale flyer though. There are a few other sites that sometimes do have a coupon for Michaels.

Thanks for that! I am heading to Michael's this weekend and since it's an hour away, I will be using that coupon to recoup some of my gas! Thanks for sharing, SCS ROCKS!

I think selection varies from store to store. I heard about some M's have Basic Grey paper packs, but I have not seen it at my local store. At mine, the "newer" things I saw are Prima flowers and some paper packs, Making Memories Passport collection (papers, embellishments, etc), Martha punches - some new ones, Hero Arts stamps - not the more recent ones, but an improvement, and Changito and Fluffles stamps.

Martha has all Halloween punches, papers, craft kits. The ribbons were on sale.

Hopefully you can also find Joann's and ACM nearby!

You might find the lunchbox tins and other alterables as well.

Look for the 20% off total purchase coupon as well. Have fun!

Michael's is selling a magazine called The Knack. It has a 20% off entire purchase coupon in it, as well as a 40% off one item coupon. The magazine only costs $1.

Yes, have him meet you after a few hours to help you check out at the register. ;) I found this link from a thread in the Announcements forum. People are so helpful and always post new coupons. There is a current thread about price-matching too.

I was in Michaels yesterday and when I checked out they gave me a coupon for 20% off my entire purchase, must be used between Oct. 19th thru 25th. And then there was also a coupon for 15% off entire purchase, including sale items. This coupon has to be used on the 26th from 4pm - 8 pm.
Whenever I go to Michaels I check out the $1 stamps. They have wood mounted and clear. I love the $1 stamps that have sentiments on them - great deal for a dollar and nice to have a variety of them. Just be prepared to dig through them to find good ones.

My Michaels will take up to 3 coupons (of theirs) without ringing up seperate orders. I went in with 3 50% off coupons the same and they used them all on my one order. That is so awesome.
