Default Glimmer Hot Foil System question

I do not own a hot foil machine, but I'm considering purchasing one. My question is, does anyone know the difference between the Spellbinders Hot Foil system and the Spellbinders Hot Foil system 2? I'm sure I missed it when I read the description of each.

I didn’t know there was a version 2. Maybe it came out with the new magnetic tool? I have a glimmer machine with the old tweezer type tool. Not my favorite tool. Everything else looks the same.

Interesting - they are both on Scrapbook.com and have different price points (the 2 is $30 more) but I don't see any difference in the bundles except the included plates and the colors of the foil.

They changed the wording on the silicon mat in V2. I am like you, Dini, I really do not see a difference. If you like V1, it is still less expensive at Hobby Lobby. Of course, I have no idea if they charge shipping on this machine.

Thanks everyone. I was afraid I had missed something. I will go with the version 1 when I return from vacation.
