I don't comment on all that I look at but try to leave comments on a few, especially the ones that don't have any comments. I would love to leave some on all but don't have the time to do that.

No, there is just not enough hours in the day. I favorite a number of them which to me is as good as a comment. It means that I LIKE your card and I want to come back and look at it time and again. Can't get much better than that IMHO. If a card makes me go WOW then yes, I will probably leave a comment but to me favorites and comments are about the same. I'm just as happy when one of mine gets a fave as I am when I get a comment. I don't share for the comments, I just like to share pretty things.....

Like others have said, no, because we would have no time for crafting! That being said, I do try and look at the new uploads, (which are tracked), and those that really take my breath away, I will comment on. Sometimes you just want to take a closer look to see what/how, and sometimes you just casually glance through. Depends on your state of mind at the time you are looking, I think. Sometimes when you are looking for an idea or inspiration, you find it, and that's the comment.
I would love to PM all the folks who have commented on my cards just to say thanks.

Do you guys like to get comments? Or have you gotten to a point in your crafting where it doesn't really matter so much to you?
I know what you mean about favs, Minders. To me, having a card of mine favorited is as rewarding as a comment.

If I look I try hard to leave a comment - I know how much I like when I receive a comment, so I try to leave a comment. Even if it is "Added to my favs" or add a comment about what made me look.

I guess I actually prefer a favorite to a comment. This is because I comment a lot more than I favorite. So when I get a favorite, it is more precious to me.
I don't give myself as much gallery time as I should, but I try specifically to comment when I see a card that's been sitting in the gallery for a while without any comments. I also generally refrain from commenting when I see a card that already has a ton of comments.
If I favorite a card, I also make a comment mentioning that it's going into my favs.
I'm also trying to remember to comment on challenge galleries if I've uploaded a card for that challenge.

No blog for me. My gallery chronicles my card-making successes and mishaps.
No, like many others have said; there just isn't enough time. My time at the computer is "stolen" time anyway in my mind. I should be doing laundry, dishes, cleaning SOMETHING, a Bible study...anything but sitting here indulging my crafty yearnings.
I also feel if I favorite something that is as good as comment. Also, our household is in the "dinosaur" age I guess as we share this one computer so my time is limited in that way as well.
Sometimes; if I decide to just check out the current days uploads I will make an effort to leave a comment on a card that has NONE to that point. There are always some that seem to collect many comments so I try to spread some love around to others.
And finally, at first I really wanted to get some positive comments when I shared something in my gallery; but now I just share for the fun of it and if I get nice comments it is a pleasant "bonus".
Yes. My thought is if I can take the time to open it to look at it I can leave a comment. I think everyone is excited when someone comments on their work. We all spend a lot of time on our creations, therefore, they deserve comments. Just my 2 cents worth.

Me too!! Unfortunately, time is scarce, so I don't get as many as I would like. :(
No. Not enough time. If I had to comment on each one I viewed, I wouldn't be able to view any of them. Maybe after I retire ... If I'm not too old and senile to use a computer by then. ;)
I don't look at the gallery too often unless I am looking for a specific idea. If I decide to CASE a card I always leave a comment, but not always otherwise.
However I have a question. Often I look at cards that are two of three years old (or even older). Does the person get notified that they have received a comment? I wonder if I am wasting my time as the comment may never get read.

If that person selected that they wanted to be notified of comments when they uploaded it, yes. There is no time limit.
I usually try and check the gallery each day and look through about 4 pages. sometimes I will look at card to see it better and most every time I do that, I do leave a comment, definitely when I put a card into my faves. I have no gallery because I'm not sure how to upload and not to mention I really haven't done much lately in the way of stamping! Always seem to be on here a lot, lol and re-organizing!! I definitely do appreciate all the time people put into this and posting there beautiful work!

To comment on every card that is uploaded would take forever. I do try to comment on as many as I can and always return the compliment if someone has been nice to me. If they don't have a gallery I usually send a PM to thank them. If I favour a card I always leave some love.
I always appreciate it whether someone adds my card to their favourites or leaves a comment. That said, I do try to add a comment whenever I add someone else's card to my favourites, as a way of saying an extra thanks. I'll admit I don't always leave a comment though if the card I'm looking at is years old.
