I'm just curious about how the pictures in the gallery get there. I mean the main page. How are they chosen? They don't seem to be all the 'wow' creations, in fact lately, they don't wow me much at all. Just curious.
I sure hope none are mine ;-) Not sure which part you are meaning exactly. The only ones I know of for sure are the recent uploads are just that...the ones posted most recently.

Do you mean "Most Recent Gallery Additions" that is linked on the home page?? It's as it's said, the most recent gallery uploads. Anyone and everyone is allowed to upload to SCS (assuming that the content is approved, not the quality) and you're seeing everyone's creations..

With the very top row of photos when you first click on "gallery," they are the most recently uploaded. As a Fan Club member, when I upload cards, if I click on "gallery" immediately afterward, I'll see my own cards there.
And on the "home page" of SCS, where it says "Most Recent Gallery Additions" and you click on "today's additions." Same thing :^) .

OUCH! That's a bit harsh, don't you think? Honestly, I'm surprised that someone would say such a thing. Talking negatively about someone else's creation in a public forum, where they frequent no less, is just plain rude. IMO, of course. Afterall, art is subjective.
How would you feel if your uploads were the one's most recent and another poster had just posted how they weren't the least bit wowed by them?

You know, I don't think the OP was really being rude. . . if she thought the cards at the top of the gallery page were selected somehow, that would've been puzzling to see less than "wow" cards. I think some of the other categories on the main page are randomly selected also.
I'm sure a lot of us have gone to the gallery or "today's additions" and seen things we were less than enthusiastic about. . . and that particular spot, at the top of the gallery changes so frequently that no one really has any idea which cards she saw there in the first place.
Now, had the OP provided links to cards and then commented that they were pretty much forgettable. . . well that would have been inappropriate, of course.
By her post numbers, I think gram2boyz is relatively new and I'd like to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Whether she was actively trying to be rude or not, is a non issue IMO. The comment wasn't very nice and if I had uploaded today it would sure leave me wondering if she was talking about me. It would also make me nervous about uploading again. As I said earlier, art is subjective. What one finds to be "wow" may not be so "wow" to another.

There isn't any reason she couldn't or shouldn't be able to express her (very general) opinion. She did not site any specific cards so there really isn't any reason for anybody to be offended.
OP- I hope you're question was answered adequately. Have a great day (or night)!
