Okay, so my husband and I are celebrating V-Day tonight instead of Wednesday. This morning, before work, I made a card for him. It turned out really gorgeous and I love the matching envie I made and everything, and I think he will like it (as much as he cares about this kind of thing!!)
Anyways, sitting here at work and thinking about it, and I just realized that I DID NOT WRITE INSIDE THE CARD!!! I made it, put it in it's matching envie, and sealed it like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hahaha, and people joke that us stampers don't care what's on the inside of a card. I hope I get home before him!!! hehehe

 I did this SAME exact thing....to two different cards! I made and mailed my niece and my mom their birthday cards...never signed them or anything.....sealed the envie, mailed them away....I remembered like 3 days later, so I called them to warn them!

I have caught myself doing this so many times. We are just so happy with our projects we can't wait for others to get them. Sad part is if you were sending them to another stamper, they would be happy with an unused card, LOL

I sent about 10 Christmas cards this year without signing it...Luckily, everyone knew they were from me...I told them to enjoy it this year and then sign and send it out to someone next year...LOL

Like you did it on purpose!!
Sadly, if I did not sign it my husband will probably not be surprised.

I did the same thing to my brother and SIL when they had their last baby. She said 'great, now i can use it for someone else'. I took it back from them and signed it - I'd made the card for them, not someone else

My sil and I send each other cards with writing only on the post it note inside. Neither of us is the kind to keep cards forever (flylady doncha know!!) and this way we can reuse the cards.
Well, I just talked to him on the phone and admitted my mistake. He says "well, I haven't MADE one for you yet". So I said he could write in mine and then it has both our marks on it.
We are such dorks.

Glad I'm not the only one that does this. I spend so much time trying to MAKE the card that about half of the time I forget to write anything at all inside.
