Oh Oh Oh! Their white cardstock is wonderfully heavy! It is great for card bases.
I signed up for the Kit of the Month; you get a new stamp set each month that is not in the catalog yet.
I joined recently as a demo, so I don't have many sets yet. But I like the birthday image set you get as part of the starter kit (it is available to order). And the damask ATC stamp is versatile.
as a SU demo, I don't order a lot from other companies but there were just oo many things that i like n the FSJ product line and i decided to order.I ordered one background stamp, a couple of matcing stamp/framelit sets and some additional ATS's.
I also got three packs of dsp for free (all the same though, so not sure what I'll do with it all, since there are something like 24 sheets per package.
Anyhow, I've stamped with some of the stamps and am please with
the quality of the stamped image using SU's inks and card stock. Haven't used my matching stamp/framelits yet but I'm looking forward to it.

This month you get 3 different packs of paper as a hostess with a $150 or more order. I am excited about this promotion.
For me a must have is the inks. It took me 4 months to get them all. I had to budget them out.
I REALLY love the pocket dies and dies with the "stitch holes".
I also love the ATS (ATC) stamps because they are inexpensive and you can create SO many projects with them. They are not teeny-tiny so they work well on cards and scrapbook pages.
As for embellishments- I find I really love using the photo pins, sparkle drops and the clear blooms.
Tools: I LOVE the unique Bloom Tool (has 7 specialized parts) the Details Pro Shears because they are sharp, sharp, sharp and the Crease Tool (it has really sharp edge, a smooth edge and is really sturdy)
Inks/papers: I'm buying them as I create the color challenges-so four colors a month. They are super juicy and the cs is a perfect match!
Oh....and I'm not trying to sell anything- just answering the question based on my experience and likes so far!
Inks and some embellishments and a few stamps. I had some friends go in with me and split the paper packs. I am going to order the stamp pads each month.

Try a couple of ink pads, along with the coordinated cardstock. There are a lot of great colors to choose from. They are so vivid, you won't be disappointed. I would also suggest a couple of stamp sets along with their matching dies. Maybe a flower set and a butterfly set.
Their paper and their inks. I have been working on a swatch book of all my inks and of all the ones I have so far (CTMH, Memento) FSJ is the most vibrant. Their cardstock is solid color and 80 pound for the 8 1/2 by 11. Love the Stamp club and the dies.
Because of this post I looked at their catalog online. Can anyone tell me if the rectangle dies # DI-0041 are 'stitched dies?' Also how do the colors compare with Stampin Up? ie which SU yellow-gold is closest to Pineapple Smoothie, ...Is Cool Pool close to Bahama Breeze? etc. It's hard to tell online. Do you have to order at a party? Thanks for your help.

Sorry I can't help you with comparison. Maybe another Coach who has all the cardstock colors, can send you some swatches.

Definitely the inks! I may have a slight ink obsession and I buy EVERY ink color from EVERY company. The color palette is very nice and the formulation doesn't dry out like some other companies (you know who you are! lol!).
Harvestmoon, I have all the FSJ inks and SU inks, so I can look at the comparisons you asked about. I'll post results here.
Of course, I would like more color comparisons. I just use Stampin Up as the baseline because I bought a key ring with all the color samples on it several years ago. It has some discontinued colors on it that I would LOVE to see come back...or buy from another source.
Online at FSJ there are stacks of paper where you only see the sides of paper, not the surface, and the flower they print for each color is open, so No solid color to judge from. And, just looking online and not having in your hand makes a difference.
I so appreciate your help in this!
OK, I'll do some this afternoon and post here. I'll do a variety of comparisons so you can get an idea of color tones.
AND I agree, there are some lovely retired SU colors, it's always sad to see some favs go, right?!?

I make color swatches. Pm me if you're interested.
This is GREAT! What is the SU color next to Pomegranate Splash? Too dark to read the word on it.
Thanks so much. These are some wonderful colors!
Sorry for the blurriness! It isn't blurry on my computer, I think the SCS forum parameters squishes them or something. Anyway, it's Cherry Cobbler next to Pomegranate Splash.
You are right - I did an expo over the weekend - and people liked being able to choose. The other comment that I heard a lot was that they were happy that there was not a charge for them to have a company website so people could shop online from them!
