I do the same thing. I had a perfectly clean room (just posted a picture at sundayview.blogspot.com) and then started working on a project for Christmas. It's pretty much trashed again--in three days! And I've lost two of the small wheel paper distressers. Can't find them anywhere. Guess I'll have to buy a third time! :(

As my fridge magnet reminds me,

"A clean desk is the sign of a cluttered mind."

I have a hard enough time keeping tract of my stuff too, and on top of that the cat helps herself to whatever she can get ahold of. Now if I can't find something I ask Belle what she did with it.

But I thought *I* was the Queen of Clutter--crafting and otherwise!! I love all the company I have found here! So many projects, so many supplies, so little available space. I'd love to buy the house across the street to have for a crafting haven, out of my DH's hair!!! But if that's a bit extreme, I guess I'd settle for a House Elf to help me where I am...Where oh where can I find one of those?!?! Thank you, stamping sisters, for sharing your smiles with me!

Every single item I own has gone into another dimension at one time or another. Some of them still there!

I too have the messy desk syndrome, but to avoid looking for my scissors, I have used a strong magnet at the edge of my desk to keep them vertival. They used to get lost under paer, but no more.

I can hardly stop laughing at all these post.

I was totally like that until I discovered that a catch all basket was what I needed...so I purchased a little black basket and put it right above my 12"x12" mat and a wire shelf from Walmart in the kitchen section...which by the way folds up...it's the kind that you put in or under cabinets for organizing dishes or pots....I sit my OTT Light in the middle of it and the little holds...keeps all my scissors, tweezers, bone folder, glossy accents, scor-tape (I use a hook to hang it on)...piercer ( which is on a magnet I got at Sears in the tool department). My cup holder houses my ATG gun...or my Embossing Gun whichever I am using most at the time. Now I know this all sounds like I don't make a mess...but with the shelf and the basket...I make less of a mess and have less stress looking for things on the table. At times I still end up with a 8 1/2 x 11 spot...LOL...Mostly from paper scraps...ribbon...inks...all around the space...but my tools are visible...Hope this helps someone....Bunny Hugs...

I was working on a card for my stamping club 2 days ago. I made my sample card to make sure it was what I wanted. Well...when I went to make the rest of the cards, I couldn't find the stamp! I even tried cleaning my craft room, but I can not find it for the life of me! It just disappeared into thin air! I am so frustrated. I am going to have to use another stamp that will not be as good. After that, I will probably find my other stamp. ;-)
