Default Frustrated with new SU clear mount cases

Is anyone having trouble getting the new SU clear mount cases to close? I am getting so frustrated with mine. I cannot get them to snap shut again once they are opened. I love the idea of the cases and I love the plastic pocket on the outside where you can put the piece of paper with the stamped image on it, but the case is useless if I can't get it to close. I want to be able to grab a case, open it, get the stamp I need, use the stamp, then put the stamp back and close the case, but I am finding that I have to sit there and mess with the darn case, but even after fussing with it, I still can't get it to close. Am I the only one experiencing this? What am I doing wrong? I'd love any hints anyone can give me to make this easier!

I notice in the beginning, you to make sure the little tabs thingys are lined up and snap tightly shut. I have not had any trouble since, I have however added many more stamp sets to one case, such a waste of space. I just posted on my blog about it.....hth *~*

You're not alone! I have had to fiddle with mine...especially the Tiny Tags box...I guess because I use it so often. The pieces in that set are so small that several dropped out when I thought I had closed the box and it wasn't really closed properly. It's definitely not a one click process.

Yup, my only complaint about them ... but they eventually do close, after a little frustration!

You really need to get the tabs lined up properly,, just made me discover I need new glasses!!! I do love the space they save and have some cases with three or so sets in them.

My problem is that I can't get my stamps to cling to the case, so when I store it upright, and open the case, all my stamps come rushing out at me.

It's hard to explain, but you don't press them in the middle of the case - it's like 1/4 of the way down, then 3/4 of the way down - you press in two places. That's how I get mine closed the best. And check to make sure the little thingies are lined up. <G> How's that for a technical explanation!? <g>

i keep my "frame/waste" rubber matt. just put the stamps back in.
1. you know you have all the stamps
2. they stay in place

You could try Dotto or something inside the case, too. Just run a strip under where each stamp would be. Not sure how long that would stay sticky enough, though.
