Default flat glass marble/pebble's for magnets.

Do you know what I'm talking about? LOL. I don't know the name, but they are the "pebble" like things you can attach a stamped image and magnet to the flat side.
Does any one have a source for these?

I get mine at Hobby Lobby. They come in a mesh bag with approx. 30 pebbles in it for 99 cents. Sometimes they are on sale for 50% off! WooHoo! Love it when that happens. You can find them there in the floral section.

hope this helps!! I would think if you ordered them off line that the shipping would be way to much!!

Thanks, just added that to my wal mart list.

Had no idea they would be so cheap.

Does anyone have a picture?

I keep reading posts about stamping on these, and I don't know what we're talking about. Would love to see some! Is there a gallery link, maybe?

TIA!

You stamp on paper and then glue the paper to the back of the pebbles.

Here's a couple that I made:

Very easy to do.

I got my last batch at the website a pp posted about - WholesalersUSA.

Great gems - what you want are the large ones that they sell - they are nice and rounder than the ones I have bought in the past from Garden Ridge (my Micheals and Wal-mart doesn't sell them - they sell the smaller ones) - they are also thinner (flatter?) than the ones I have gotten in the past.

I know last time I bought from them they were planning on having shaped gems soon - I might have to go check them out.

I have posted some one mine (using the gems from Garden Ridge) in my gallery - don't know if this link will work or not

I get mine at Hobby Lobby too when they are on sale. Can't really beat the 50% off!

I could not open any of the sites that were listed. It should be a direct link, right?

I got a bag of them from the Dollar Store. I just made some and put them in a craft fair on Saturday. I made 14 and sold 7 of them, which I thought was pretty good because it was more of a fall festival than a craft fair and considering I paid $1 for the whole bag and I charged $.75 each for the magnets. I plan on making more. Kids really seem to like them and since they're under $1, it's like a "keep them quiet" purchase!
