I wanted to show you guys my first every SU! cards I made last night so bad. You have all been so super helpful and sweet and I wanted to share with you. They are pretty bad in comparison to your galleries but I am not putting myself down. I had a blast making them and I am fully aware they we all have to start somewhere.
I am not nearly good enough to start my own gallery yet so I just wanted to scan the cards and show you on this forum. I scanned them just fine and when I went to browse and find them and try to attach them, it said my pixels were too big. I have no idea how to change pixels. So I went to the gallery to figure out how to start a new one and I couldn't figure that out either.
So I guess you guys are spared for now. Maybe I can just practice making better cards and when I figure out how to run computer of mine  I will be able to show you better cards. I was just excited and wanted to share with my new family.
You're right, we all have to start somewhere. I do remember making my first cards and I felt much like you do. There is a bit of a learning curve, but once you learn the basics, a whole world of creativity opens up. And the fun never ends!! :P
I'm actually trying to keep all of my cards in my gallery so that I can see my progression over time. They definitely aren't the best, but as you said ... gotta start somewhere!!! This is sooo cool.
I'm going to suggest that we have a category in the gallery for "my first card," if there isn't one already. I mean, all of us had to start somewhere, right? Then we can be embarrassed together, and the newbies to stamping won't be so hard on themselves (even though it is human nature). What do you think? Would you contribute your very first card, or have you already?
It was so long ago when I made mt first card that I don't think I even have one! But..... Stamping rocks and you will definitely get better with age like fine wines! I promise!

Yes, I will post it in the gallery as you suggested. I just have to figure out how because I don't have a clue.
To load it to your gallery click on the gallery button at the top of the home page. On the right side it will say upload photo. click on that and just follow the questions. Once it gets approved you will be up and running and we can all see you wonderful work.

I, for one, made some absolutely WRETCHED first cards. I look back and gasp at how horrible they were! Cheap paper, cheap stamps, cheap ink..... cheap results ;)
Oh boy, I've come a LONG way.... and in a few years I'm sure I'll gasp in horror at teh cards I make today ;)
How great!!! Can't wait to see it! I just put up two of my first cards (not entirely SU products at the time) if you want to take a peek--we can groan together. :? I've since bought SU cardstock to keep me happy with my other SU products, lol.
As far as not having your gallery--do it, you'll be surprised! Someone suggesting having a visual record of your cards so you can see your progress--this is an easy way to do it.
Hi Tam I Am. Your bear card really made me smile - it was adorable! Yes, I did go ahead a set up a gallery of my very first cards - much improvement needed but that is ok, it was fun and I can compare my progress along the way. I would give you a link to my gallery but I don't know how to do that yet. I posted under General discussions with "Scream, I finally did it!"
